I got 8 scenario questions. All were paired with the same scenario, and a different solution. My system: read each objective singly, and see of the solution applies, go on to the next objective, etc, etc. Mark on paper if the required objective or the optional work ort not. Tally them up, and you are done!!(Hint: on several of these answer d was-did not meet required objective, while ABC mention did meet required objective, and 1 or more desired. If it did not meet the required, then d was the answer

Got 2 triangle questions, nothing to do with any kind of modem formula I found on this site.

Also got scenario dealing with decreasing network utilization. Solution was to upgrade to Cat 5. This was a matching set of questions. I put that it did not meet the req uired objective. Read the book, and check it out.

What are hexidecimal names anyway??

Scenario dealt with naming schemes in large WANS. add up the total letters in the computer name...cant exceed 15. My question(again a matching set) dealt with 8 letters indicating location, 5 for department name, and 2 for something else. This adds up to 15, which is ok. For user name-email name is ok. satisfied all objectives.

Got the question regarding NIC initilizes ok, etc., problem gcould be transciever.

Also got a protocol mismatch question.

Standard non routable protocols.

Know about router, bridges, repaters.

I got the run off the bridging function in a brouter question.

Remember- you need appletalk if the network has macs. This was inside a scenario question
