Thanks to Rob and all the braindumpers out there. THIS SITE made the difference for me. Passed first time. I have zippo zilch zero experience in networking and work in finance for cryin' out loud. The MCSE thing sortof landed in my lap at work because they needed to fill a few extra seats... Anyhoo, I got not too much from the class I took (Trainer just followed the book...) Learned a good bit and got a pretty good feel for the concepts by reading the MS press Net Ess book. Did the quizes which helped. Then I surfed the net and found Nicholas Chung's summary, which had a link to this site... A week before the test I scheduled. After reading a few dumps and then flunking a practice test or two, I studied like a MOFO day and night all week (the braindumps especially.) No transcenders, no exam cram... Well, I passed skin-o-my-teeth with an 827. Not bad considering I realized I didn't know shit about anything a week before I scheduled my test. Pretty good for a bonehead. HERE'S MY TIPS:

1) Read ALL the braindumps... print them down, carry 'em around.

2)Schedule the Sunday pm test time, gives you all day Saturday and Sunday am to review.

3)I didn't bother with the tutorial/practice at the test (braindump tip) Instead, I wrote down a few things to trigger my memory like the Cats, a few irqs, pdntspa, etc.

4) I ripped through what I knew I knew on the test first. My scenario questions were all bunched up in the middle. about 8 questions. Had the three city ones 2 q's, the reset the mac one, the ethernet=transciever..

5) I marked about 7 questions and had time not only to go back over them, which I read so painfully carefully that I was sweating I think...

But I also went back over every other question and still had seven minutes to spare. They say go with your first hunch, and that's true in most cases, but be sure to read the questions carefully even the second time. I caught two that I screwed up the first time because I didn't read the question right, which was worded funky.
