It is my great pleasure to be able to add to this site what I can considering what it has done for me. I would not have passed without it. I have been an assistant net admin for 8mos.

THIS IS A NEW TESTING FORMAT NOW AND IT IS CALLED ADAPTIVE.

You get 25-35 questions of progressive difficulty. I was stopped somewhere between the 28th and 31st question, I don't remember exactly. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT YOU CANNOT MARK AND RETURN TO PREVIOUS QUESTIONS. Once you've answered a question you cannot change it.

The good news is that the questions were still pretty much the same as what I have seen on these pages. Here is a little summary of the questions I thought were different.

1. Something about a simple network where they wanted security. Options for the type of net included Domain, Client/Server, and two others I thought were definitely wrong.

2. A net that could use either a bridge or a brouter. No cost or performance considerations were given. I thought this was too ambiguous.

3. WAN backbone wanted. ISDN, T1, X.25, and ATM were choices. Again no cost or performance considerations were given.

4. A couple of cool diagram questions that were simplistic.
