I have passed 3 of the exams so far with the help of CBT's and this GREAT site. I passed the 70-058 exam recently, and would like to contribute. I passed with 896...

The questions I remember that I didn't see posted are what I will submit.

1) Windows 95 offers what means of security (select all that apply)

a. User level

b. Share level

ANSWER - a, b

2) What protocol records "hop" information stored in routers?

(there was a list of 10 or so choices)

ANSWER - RIP

3) Which of the following protocols is non-routable?

(again, a list of about 10 or so choices)

ANSWER - NETBUIE (spelling?)

4) Win NT offers what means of security (select all that apply)

a. User level

b. Share level

ANSWER - a (Share level security is technically administered in NT through User level security.)

Can't remember any more specifics, but I have great words of wisdom!

KNOW protocol analyzers

KNOW that in order to track security, you must ENABLE AUDITING. (some of the scenario questions will trick you if you don't pay attention!)

KNOW the 7 layers of OSI, and which protocols/devices fit into which layers. (i.e. TCP = Transport, IP = Network, Repeater = Physical,

etc...)

KNOW speeds and attenuation of all cable types. (lots of those questions)

Well, I'm off to Enterprise. Have fun!
