I wanted to let you know I passed Net Essentials today 87.9. Standards/Terminology 86, Planning 93, Implementation 84 and Troubleshooting 86. This was my second shot, my first was 72.something, without any Braindumps. Your site is great, most of the questions were right from the dumps.
1. Know the hardware: repeater, router, bridge gateway, brouter and their
uses, protocol transfer, IBM usage, where on OSI, topology connections, .
2. Know IRQ table specifically 3,4,5.
3. Know troubleshooting new computer to network, can't see some resources,
could see network can't now, card setting, transceiver settings etc.
4. Know difference between PPP and SLIP.
5. Know routable non-routable protocols, used in very subtle manner in many
questions.
6. Know NT vs. 95 security.
7. Know cables, can't stress enough, types, ohm reading, #term,
#groundings, lengths, Bps etc.
8. Be careful with wording in the senerio questions, best to read from the
bottom up.
9. Terminology are easy points, should have known better only 86%.
Pray
Thanks to God, and all your braindumps. I think I will get back to
knowing my family again.
