There where two Qs that I didn't see in here:

A picture showing a 10Base2 Network

# (Terminator)

|-Server
| Computer |
| |
#---------------------------|-------------------------#
| |
Computer Computer

Guess whats the problem?

Answer: 10Base2 networks must not branch. Make sure that there are only 2 terminators.

The second one

A company is going to expand and wants to add 1 server and 24 clients to the lan in the future.

Current LAN: 3 WinNT servers, 120 clients, UTP3 cabling, 10BaseT, TCP/IP only. The clients are dedicated in qual parts to the 3 servers.

Required: Network traffic decreases 50%

Optional: Still having the same performance after the installation of the additional lan.

Be prepared for further expansions of the network

Keep the costs low.

Proposed solution:

Change all the UTP cabling to FDDI and install FDDI Network-Cards on all Computers.

(A real strange scenario)

a)[] Meets all requirements

b)[] Meets required and 2 optionals

c)[] Meets required and no optionals

d)[] Meets neither

Chosed c, but Im not sure.

cu!
