Everyone,Just passed Net Essentials this morning. Guess what ? The exam is now adaptive. Contact your testing facility for information regarding the parameters involved in taking exams in this manner! Listed below are a few key points. The testing guides,books and this site are still of great value but , the new testing scenario will force you to revamp your testing strategy.
- Adaptive meaning the test gauges your competence in a given area based on correct answers. As you answer each question correctly, the test will respond will more difficult questions.
- You are not permitted to change your answers.
- The tests do not exceed 30 minutes.
- I had approximately 26 questions.
- Pass / Fail cutoff scores are different.
Again, contact your test center for details. Just know your material. I could sense the difficulty level rising as I continued the test.
