MCSE 70-058 Networking essentials

I passed my 1st exam (844/1000). I do have networking experiencce, but I did not bother too much with theory till now. I studied using MSPress Networking essentials and braindumps. I carefully watched demos from CD. I run only one Lab.

58 questions, 105 minutes, pass=793 points (my rough calculations says it's about 8-10 wrong answers allowed?)

I can not remember of any question I did not find here in Braindumps, so I will not repeat them.

My studying technique

definitively read braindumps

check the answers in book!
focus your learning on things found in braindumps
(I believe it helped me to skip over 200 pages in book and feel no hole in memory :)

My exam-techique

1st pass: answer only where you're 100% sure
2nd pass: reread non-answered Q's (but not situations) and answer some
(I found 2-3 Q's which wording actually answered some previous Q's)
next pass: recheck all answers and mark where not so sure
next pass: situations
next pass: recheck marked Q's
next pass: I had a lot of time left so I took a paper and counted the questions I was 100% sure I answered correct. I found 8 possible misses and I was pretty sure that's enough to pass (is it? :)
Then I slowly and carefully reread all Q's again. Did not find anything to fix
it helped knowing
carefully read every word - I changed my selection in two Q's after I reread them!
