Took Net Essentials twice this week! First time got a 775 - close but not good enough. Then, yesterday (Wednesday), plunked down another $100.00, took it again and got 913!

I have to say, that without this braindump site, I would be paying another $100.00 to take the test. The site is awesome, and hopefully I remember a little bit and can add.

Most of the questions I had have been covered here. The first time I took the exam I got the nasty question using 3 16 port hubs between 3 locations and having a 28.8 modem on each port of the hub - didn't have a clue and still don't.

Yesterday, got the WAN questions with the 2 T1 lines and the 3 T1 lines (thanx guys). There was a questions on a network using Ethernet and Token Ring - the token packet took 2 minutes to get to the ethernet but the ethernet only took seconds - what was the problem?

4 questions on security - lucky for me they were the same 4 that I had on Monday, and I researched them on this site (thanx again guys!)

3 qustions where the only possibly answer was protocol analyzer. One question on the OSI model - which device lives above the Transport layer (gateway).

Question on protocol translation - what device does that - gateway.

2 questions on ODI and NDIS -

A few troubleshooting questions - one was worded differently than I have seen here - NIC card installed, software initialized properly. Others can access server, this new computer cannot - HARDWARE has been determined to NOT be a problem - what's the problem - the choices were incorrect transceiver; incorrect IRQ; incorrect port; no enough extended memory. Well, you tell me???

One questions on cable distances.

Sorry I can't remember word for word, but do want to say, TAKE YOUR TIME. When I saw the first question, I thought "gonna be a snap", then, I took a few deep breaths, and really read the question - ooops, I read it wrong - so, don't assume that the wording on the exam will be the same way it is on the dumps, they appear to have changed some of the wording and it has changed the answer required.

Good luck to all, and I'll be checking out the dumps on Workstation 4.0 soon.

Again, thanx for all who came before me to make my life a little easier, and BDH Websters - the biggest thanx to you for doing this -

Sue
