MSCE Network Essentials Exam.
18th December 1997.
Hi there. My name
is Warren and I've just taken the above mentioned exam. I took 10 minutes
to complete it and my score was 862, which I think isn't to bad for the
time I took.
The exam wasn't too tricky, I had a lot of questions
on 'cable types', ' where would you use what (router, brouter etc)' about
4 scenario questions, and 2 NT related questions. There
were no wireless or ATM questions that I can think of.
If you are studying for the exam, then I would
suggest that you summarize the book (I used the Sybex Networking Book -
not that useful), and try and get some quiz software. I used NetPrep from
www.mcpprep.com
which was very useful. It contained quite a lot of similar questions that
I found in the exam.
I will try to rack my brain and see if I can come
up with a few questions in order to help you.
