I took the exam today. My second passed with a score of 931.

I used the exam cram book, transcender 2.5 and the braindumps from this site. I think the braindumps helped the most as I would research the questions and had no surprises.

I had about 10 scenario questions.

3 cities needing connect of 1.5 (did not say continuous in the requirement)

Both options required continuous connection
Install 2 T1 lines(met required) and install 3 T1 lines (met all)

Also had the 2 Netbios questions

one with Hex names become meaningful names on hundreds of PC's (Did not meet)

one with 8,5,2 names (met all)

what kind of cabling would I use to upgrade a cat3 from 10Mbps to 100Mbps

Had to 2 NDIS and ODI questions. Answers had nothing in them about multiple protocols on one NIC or monolithic.

Had lots of questions on where devices go on the OSI. Had a picture with all the OSI layers and which worked above the transport layer (gateway)

Want to connect 3 segments using TCP/IP what will you use.

What type of connectors go to which type of cable.

I can not think of any that I got that were not on this site.

Look at the braindumps and find out the anwsers your self some are wrong. Do that and you will have no problems what so ever passing the exam.
