I just passed the 070-058 test with a score of 827 on my first

try....Kudos to Me!!

I passed this exam after studying for about 5 or 6 weeks. I used the

Sybex book, tjhe Microsoft Press book, PEP tests and the Edge tests. I

must say that the test was close to the practice exams in some respects

but was also a lot harder. The wording on the actual test was more

confusing....I felt like I was being tricked on some of the ?s.

I was also a part of MCSE testing history today....when I got to my

testing site, they knew nothing about my schedualed test! They hadn't

recieved anything ffom MS about my account. If was however, quickly

cleared up by the test administator who dispached a call and after

having to wait an hour (which felt more like a week) I was off and

running. To anyone taking ANY of these series of tests, MAKE SURE to

call ahead just to verify that the testing center has reicieved your

info...no need to give yourself a panic attack like I got!

I am not going to list too many of the questions I saw because I studied

this site quite a bit and found a lot of inconsistencies. There were a

few I DO think I should list these few quirky ?s...

Most of the situational ?s were in sets of two....with one different

proposed solution given that was very similar to that last...

Also didn't see any ?s about wireless

Quite a few ?s about routers/repeaters/gateways/etc..

Quite a few ?s about IPX and weather or not it was the right protocol

for a situation

Make sure you study the IRQs....only 1 question but it was a tuffy

Would love to give you more but I feel if you want it bad enough...you

will do just fine...just do these things:

Study HARD

Go into the test with a positive attitude

Get sufficient rest

Don't go in with an empty stomach

Don't spend too much time on any one ?
