TCP/IP for NT Server 4, Test #70-59
Well I did it today. TCP/IP Adaptive test. I thought it was easier than the old tests, 570 to Pass and I got 733. Not great but not bad and it's done.
I used Sybex (Not a lot), Queand SAMS 14 days to TCP/IP, and of course transcender, which was close to worthless, and this site. The dumps from the others really helped. I always dump my brain about3 minutes after the test but here is what I remember as far as questions.
25 questions - there are possible 35, and of course the stupid survey before the test begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RAS - several questions, almost all with multiple modems and how to connect to ISP, how to allow clients to dial in and then use the internet, and configuration of DHCP, DNS, and WINS.
UNIX - several about can ping IP address, but don't connect with unc or fqdn.
Multihomed NT server, pick out the correct gateway addresses.
2-3 scenario questions about configuring DHCP, DNS, WINS and hosts files.
NO -- NO subnetting, addressing, or supernetting.
Wish I could remember more.
THanks for this site.
