70-059: Internetworking with Microsoft TCP/IP on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
Not much to add; the other braindumps more or less cover the exam.
There's a bit of a debate developing as to whether or not you need to know
parameters and switches for the utilities. I didn't, but if others say they
did then maybe there are a couple of questions in the question pool.
1) Primary
2) Secondary
3) Forwarder for other DNS servers
4) Forwarder for WINS
Obviously not 1) or 4). I've never heard of a Forwarding DNS server so chose 2). Check it out if you're unsure.
The other odd one involved four NT servers on 3 subnets. It asked what command had to be run on the two middle servers to configure their static routing tables. Each answer involved two commands, one for each router. Answers 1), 3) and 4) were adding network IDs for the routers local subnets so obviously wouldn't achieve routing across all subnets.
Answer 2) was fine except for the subnet mask [or was it the gateway?]
for router 3, which had an incorrect value in one of the octets. I
chose 2) because it was the best one, although none were exactly correct so far as I could see.
All in all, quite a tough exam, but I passed with 948. I finished within an hour but spent the remaining time reviewing about ten marked questions. There was a lot of exhibit questions which are really annoying because you can't view the question and exhibit on screen at the same time.
Anyway 5 down, 1 to go...
