TCP/IP 4.0 for windows NT
Well this is my 3rd briandump to this site. BLABH BLHBA the test yes it has become adaptive and it is very very painful to the ego!!! I scored 813 out of 570 Which I did not excpect but I think that is a good mark. The test is very, very tricky, in that almost all the stuff in transcenders isn't there (some were) and there was only 1 question on subnetting! I didn't bother drawing a chart. Basically here is the exam layout:
You have 25 question that are CAT, and if you score more than 1/2 on these, I think you pass and you don't have to write anymore. If you score less than 570, you have to write 10 more questions that are just there. In the CAT section, you cannot go back and check your answers!!! Make absolutely sure that you think it is the answer before you go to the next.
Here are my usual tips to people writing the exam:
1) Read Coroiolis' TCP/IP exam cram book first
2) Microsoft Press's TCP/IP 4.0 Training Kit
3) Review the Coriolis book again
4) Write the transcenders exams (all 3 of them) don't worry if you get a shitte mark the first time. Hell I scored 65% on all 3 and then after I went to study and reveiwed, I got 90% on all of them
5) check out the braindumps (why do you think I am writing this???)
anyways, all of you probably want to know whats on the exam don't you?? Well here's the NFO for what gave Harybalz the hit!
1) Question: What service(s) is/are started with WINS? Choice two (2)
(a) Alerter
(b) Messenger
(c) server
(d) DNS
(e) RIP for Ip
When I saw this question, I wanted to smack myself because when I looked at the braindumps, TT on (10/15/98) and said I have to know that. My hint is: If you think something isn't going to be on an exam ( Murphy's law) says it wil!!! Study it!
the answer is b& c because DNS and RIP have nothing to do with WINS and alerter is for traps. Pretty sure I got this so you should check
The rest of the questions I don't remeber cuz I thought I was going to fail and not submit a braindump!
Good luck to you all!
