TCP/IP 4.0

Required to pass 570, I got a 750. 25 questions and I was done in about 30 mins, easiest test I have taken yet - 5 down 1 to go!

For those about to take the new adaptive test, let me say a few things.

If you know your material - YOU WILL PASS. Those of you who try to

memorize the transender questions - YOU WILL FAIL.

Its that easy. Just Know Your Material

I used the exam cram book and transender 3.91 and I did have the class.

This test is very straight forward about the questions, the transender test

were very helpful in letting me know whether I knew the material or not.

The scenerio questions were very similar to the transender quesions

and I only had 5 of them.

I had NO subnetting questions - most questions were the usual questions

like this...

Susan runs a network of 5 subnets. WINS in not installed. SubnetA

can ping a system on SubnetB but cannot connect when she uses

NET USE to that same system. What is the problem? and they give you

answers like

HOST file is not on the server

HOST file is not on the workstation

WINS in not enabled on the workstation

etc.......

This I why I say that if you know your material it is very easy. There was no "Trick"

questions, they were very straight forward. This was the easiest test I have taken

due to the amount of question and time spent taking it and the difficulty of the exam.

Know your utilities, know in which order a netbios name is resolved....simple stuff

for those of us who have studied and comprehend the "How and Why's" of TCP/IP.

Don't let this test scare you because it's not full of the Transender quesions, its much

easier that that........

Best of Luck to those pursuing your MCSE and a Very BIG THANKS to this

Braindump site!!
