TCP/IP
O.K. Maybe it's just me. I've taken this one TWICE now and have scored LOWER the second time around. This is the toughest one I've taken. Everyone in the braindumps says to study this and study that. I've 2 classmates of mine pass it the first time around...THIS TEST IS A KILLER. You can't just know the basics..you have to know ALL the gory details.  I've only had 25 questions both tests. There were NO subnetting questions NONE, ZIP, NADA!!! which is what I really studied up on. It doesnt hurt to memorize the table though.

There were 3 drag and drop questions on both tests.

My first test had a drag and drop DHCP scope question. Place the range of addresses given in the question into the appropriate areas of the DHCP box.

The second test had a drag and drop for STATIC ROUTING. question about multihomed host A and B needing to connect to internet. Drag and drop addresses and default gateways into the right areas.

Drag and drop on matching PRIMARY SERVER,SECONDARY SERVER,CACHING SERVER,CACHE,SOA,(and one other I can't remember) with the descriptions.

4 or 5 scenarios with those stupid multiple options.     ie" meets required result and only 2 optionals" christ... I hate those!!!!

Had 2 or 3 questions on what monitor to use..

In the first test had 2 or 3 questions about the "net use" command.

Second test I had 2 to 3 questions on RAS.

Had a LMHOST file question on both tests.

The tests seem to take 2 to 3 particular things in TCP/IP and pick it apart in DETAIL.

Thats pretty much all I can remember.... These braindumps are a great help but now that the tests are adaptive; it makes it that much tougher. I study for 2-3 hours a night 6 days a week starting a month before I take a test.

I've passed networking essentials, workstation, and server, but this one is the toughest. I WILL NOT LET THIS STUFF BEAT ME!!

Already $200 in the hole on this test and it will take more $ but I will not give up!!!
