MCSE Status....FINALLY!

The advice I can give anyone preparing for this test (all the tests for that matter) is STUDY STUDY STUDY. Use These Brain Dumps to help you focus on what you may encounter on the test.

I also used the Exam Cram Books for all my tests & Found them to be quite helpful. I also used the Transcender practice tests, they give you a very good look & feel for what the real test will be like. Take the over & over but read WHY the

I recommend that you Install TCP/IP, DNS,WINS,DHCP and become familiar with all the options and Utilities.

Time was not an issue.

As for my test:

9 scenario type questions regarding DHCP,WINS,DNS and how to tie them together -read them carefully, look at required result then look at solution then go over the optional stuff 1 by 1. Be sure to READ QUESTION CAFEFULLY.

KNOW DNS,WINS, DHCP COLD

About 6-7 questions on WINS

About 5 on DNS

About 5 on DHCP

All of the above are questions other than the scenario ones

Know what all the command line Utilities do & when to use what---about 10 questions

Do not focus to much on all the switches.

About 8-9 questions on troubleshooting IP Address, Subnet Mask, default gateway. Know what could be causing connection problems.

I did not use the calculator one time. Only 3-4 easy questions on subnetting. Write down the table before you start the test & these questions are gimmies.

Know resolution order.

Know node types---B-H-M--P

Again Look at these brain dumps to focus, DO NOT go by some of the answers Posted by people here! Research the questions yourself for the answers.

If You study hard & read each question carefully you will have no problem

Good Luck.
