First of all I want to thank all you guys and Rob for this site. I used exam cram, sybex success test book, and trascender tests. I passed with 945. All the question where similar or the same as previous brain dumps. It was not as hard as I thought it would be.

  1. know your disk configuration

    Minimum for stripe set is 1 controller 2-disk
    minimum for stripe set with parity 1 controller 3 disk

    Minimum for duplex 2 controller 2 disk

  2. RAS server need encrypted connection for databases other users use third party software to connect what to do.
    A) Use encryption on some ports and have user to connect to that.
    B) Use clears text and have database use encryption on remote connections.
    C) etc…
    I picked B. I know some people selected A. But I was not sure if that was the case so research it.
  3. Dial into the RAS NetBEUI and TCP/IP only on the server. What client can access.
    A) share dir.
    B) NetBios apps.
    C) Using IPX connecting to a NetWare server.
    D) etc.
    I picked all except C.
  4. How to remove a PDC and make it member serve.
    I picked Promote BDC and reinstall PDC as member server.
  5. You bring an NT into the NetWare Environment with win95s running IPX. What you need on NT server to allow win95 to access resource on the NT Server.
    I Picked NWLINK on NT server.
  6. Same as above except you bring in a NW server into NT environment.
    I picked install GSNW on NT server (NWLINK protocol and CSNW on win95 was not an option).
  7. Calculate how much data can be stored on disks with stripe set with parity.
  8. Where should you install page file on an I/O bound system with 5 disks and two partitions on each
    A) On a partition where system files are.
    B) On all the partitions except boot partition.
    C) On all the disks except where system and boot files are
    D) Equal size on all the partition except where system files are.
    I was not sure about this on but I picked B.
  9. Question on if mirror set that has system and boot fails what to do in file boot.ini based on exaction picture.
