I found this exam very easy (see my score) than Workstation exam (921/1000).

50% questions about disk stuff and NetWare.

Ok, I'll do my best here:

1. You have 3 LANS with 2 NT Server each and 50 NT WS, the LANS are connected over a WAN. Servers and WS all have NetBEUI and TCP/IP loaded. WS use 90% NetBEUI, How you optimize performance? ( actually there was a big story in real exam, sorry I can't recall)

Ans. Make NetBEUI top of the binding order in all Workstations.

2. You attach an external tape drive and SCSI controller, how to setup? (Choose All)

Ans. Install driver for SCSI & Install driver for Tape and Restart.

3. You have 2 SCSI controller and 2 Hard drives, you want fault tolerance and want to access data even one the items fail, what is the best method?

Ans. Disk Duplexing

4. You have 4 scsi hard drives, you want to implement fault tolerance and also want to maximize the use of disk space. Which method?

Ans. Stripe set with parity

5. How to trouble shoot Ras?

Ans. Edit registry to enable device.log

6. How to use Performance Monitor to verify the need of more RAM?

Ans. Page/Sec (Counter in Memory Object)

7. Which file is needed for SCSI disk with BIOS disable on boot disk?

Ans. In any Subdirectory of :\winnt\system32\repl\export. ( make sure in a Subdirectory! )

Ans. Remove Bob from Sales.
