Implementing and Supporting Windows NT Server 4.0 (70-67)
Dear all,
Took Server Exam yesterday and passed with 872. Thanks to all earlier
contributors to this site - What a help. This was my first exam so I was
a little apprehensive. I had attended Server/Workstation course as well as
Enterprise. In addition, main revision areas were Riders MCSE study guide
and a couple of CBT CD Roms. However, I cant stress enough the value
of these braindumps. Above all, this and hard work got me through.
If you go through the braindumps from January onwards, I would say 30-35
questions would DIRECTLY appear, almost word for word. Know these and
youre almost there!
Time wasnt really an issue here. I had c. 25 mins to go over marked
questions at the end. I probably marked about ten questions and only changed
my mind on one (dont know if I got this right or not!). Therefore,
if in doubt, go with your initial (gut) reaction. It will hopefully serve
you well.
Cant remember the questions in depth, but heres my revision advice
in order of preference:-
-
Netware. About 10 questions in all. Know the properties of GSNW and when
NWLINK IPX/SPX is needed for database connectivity. Also, a couple of questions
with RIP for IPX/SPX. Know what this is used for. Read the questions carefully
and make sure you understand which o/s you are connecting from/to.
-
Disks. Know you stripe sets from your volume sets, mirroring/duplexing from
striping with parity fault tolerance. Read the questions carefully. You can
usually discount two of the answers immediately. There were about 5 or 6
questions here.
-
Couple on ARC paths. Real "gimmies" if you know the make up of boot.ini.
-
RAS. Not too bad. I can only remember three questions, two to do with password
security and one to do with SLIP properties. I personally didnt study
RAS to death so was lucky. You may have more questions!
-
The old chestnut. You have three servers....Mandatory profiles.....Server
goes down ..... Can you log in? AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
-
Couple of questions on performance monitoring. Nothing too taxing, mostly
concerned with memory inadequacies (arent we all?)
-
Only two on printing.
-
Two or three on use of ERD. Know that you cannot boot from this disk.
-
The rest were made up of questions on groups, permissions, BDCs/Member servers,
replication, installing across a network etc. that have mostly appeared in
earlier brain dumps. I wont copy these questions, as the earlier
contributors were spot on with their observations. Read these dumps and you
wont be far away from success.
Good luck.
