I just took the MS Server 4 Exam and passed with a score of 764
PASSING: 764
Lucked out I guess
Anyway here are somethings that I still remember:
A lot of questions on the client side controlliblity of an NT Server.
A couple questions on Netware connectivity.
Understand the difference between:
RIP for IPX
IPX/SPX
SAP Agent
Gateway Services of Netware.
Brush up on the what views are used and when they are apporpriate.
Also find out how the Alerter service is supposed to be configured.
Some very straight forward questions regarding striping with parity
ex. minimum hardware needed.....duh...
A picture of what section of RAS encryption can a user use to dial in to your
RAS server.
No questions on DHCP, WINS, or DNS
Some questions on Local and Global groups.
My advice on this is to compare the answers
like this
a: xxxx-yyx-xxx
b: xxxx-yxx-xxx
c: xxxx-xxx-xxx
d: xxxx-xxy-xxx
This will strain the eyes but get use to it!!!!!
Be able to differentiate the difference out there and simplest way
A person once said that the key to taking MS exams is to find out why each
answer was wrong not why one answer is right.
I hope this helps all the people out there hoping to be certified in the MS Server.
Good Luck.
