NT Server 4.0 (70-067) Exam Comments
& General Study Info
This test is NOW ADAPTIVE |
Just passed NT Server exam# 70-067
on 1-25-99, The test is now ADAPTIVE!!! I was not prepared for this exam structure. I have
passed Net Essentials and Workstation, both of which are adaptive, but I used trancender
for this one and it didnt help but on maybe one or two questions. Prepare well! The test
is only between 25-35 questions depending on your score at 25. I cant remember a question
from this test Because I was so stressed out, SORRY! Passing is 564 I scored 680. This site is the best, thanks!! |
Windows NT Server 4.0 Test 70-067 I took NTS4 today (January 25, 1999), and I just wanted to warn you out there that Microsoft does have an adaptive version of the test now. Instead of the usual 55 questions, the test ended up being a total of 25 of which maybe 15 or so were adaptive while the rest were your garden variety NTS4 questions. I was quite surprised when I started the exam when it told me the test was adaptive. This format lowers the required score to 545 (I only got a 666) so that's in your favor. Though I can't provide specific questions and answers, I will say that if you do the usual run of brain dumps, cram session, and Transcenders, that you should at the least get some of the concepts down so that you'll feel comfortable with the questions. Good luck folks... |
Just passed the NT Server 4.0 with a 633, got an adaptive test. The first 10 questions were standard questions, most of them i found on this site. Half of the adaptive questions I hadn't seen anywhere before. The questions got increasingly longer and harder. I got a new format for scenerio questions. Instead of stating if it met the desired result you have to check off the results that are met. No more eliminating the desired result and being home free. If you just study the material on this site, confirm your answers, and know the procedures you shouldn't have any problems. I always use at least 2 different study guides and all the braindumps and message boards I can cram in. Enterprise is next for me, only 3 tests left to go. |
I just took the NT Server test today
01/25/99. The test is now adaptive. It became adaptive as of 1/22/99. The test is in two parts. 15 to 25 questions for the adaptive part plus ten questions. The test therefore is 25 to 35 questions. The passing score is 545, I got 614. They do not tell you what areas you missed questions in. They do not tell you how many questions you got wrong. NONE OF THE QUESTIONS WERE FROM TRANSCENDER. You really have to know the theory to pass this test. Memorization will not cut it. |
NT Server test 70-67 Taken on December 30th, 1998. Passed with an 818. Not the best score in the world but i'll take it. This test was NOT ADAPTIVE, despite what other people may think. If the test is not adaptive in one area it's not adaptive, period. Anyways, i got that controversial question about logging into the network with the server being down and mandatory profiles. I chose "could not log into network". I got a 87% on connectivity so I dont know if I was right or not (I think I got some other connectivity q's wrong) Know Novell, RAS, RAID. Read other braindumps. I used the dumps, New Riders book, a little Exam Cram, and lots of Transcenders. Good luck! Onto Enterprise for me... GlassVial |
Implementing and Supporting NT Server 4.0 First of all I want to thank everyone who participated to this homepage. I passed NT server yesterday 27-11-1998 with 927 from 1000. Almost 90 % of the questions was the same as the ones from this homepage. |
Thank you Braindump And all the people who contributed to this site without this site I Don`t think I would have passed. Again Thank you!! I passed with a 800 it`s not the best but I passed!! I also used - Transcender
Braindumps I would like to give Extra speical thanks to
This site is the best --- I have told Thanks Again |
I just wanted to thank all the braindumps that are out
there!!!! I just passed my 4.0server test today with a grade of 909. I know that I could
not have done it without the DUMPS. The braindump called "THE Test" was
very helpful, 80% of the test was the same as the dumps. Thankyou!! JIM |
Wheww... Just back from test. Scored 945 on this one. What I must say, if u want to pass fo sure, study hard those braindumps. About 3 weeks ago I took same test, and failed, needed just 1 more answer right. I only used Sybex's Study guide, which as everybody says is piece of s**t. Acctualy, it's true - when I tried transceder tests later, I couldn't find almost 50% answers on book. My 'tools': Thoughts about exam and braindumps: some really professional people say: using braindumps is cheating. Well, i'd say this: I read books and practice on nt server just to know it for myself. this exam is for paper, which doesn't mean anything just by itself. You can pass test even without sitting at NT. (even not using braindumps, only book, just as i did on networking essentials, only book, and passed 1st time) Those questions on test: what's the difference if answers is practically the same, just one points to server manager, other to user manager for domains or whatever: in real life, i go there, if i don't see there, i go somewhere else and find! What's the difference if tab called 'properties' or 'options', i go there and see. and from another point - people who uses NT right from begining, can't pass exam just like this, because of those stupid questions, 'properties' or 'options'. I said to myself: I read books and practice on NT for myself, for knowledge, and I read those braindumps for test, because test doesn't give u anything but paper. And those tests: the guy who supposed to watch me, dissappeared for good 20 mins, I could take out my palmpc (lucky i have one) and just search all the answers I prepared yesterday, but i didn't, just for 'i have to do it myself' thing. And I'm pretty sure somebody just pasted answers from lists or whatever. that's not fair. Oh well, so much for the exam. No questions, just because all questions are here anyway. Dami |
Just passed the NT Server 4.0 test with a 872 score. Heard from the folks at the Prometric test center that there was a person that got an adaptive version of this test. Just wanted to contribute my 2-cents on one particular question - THE controversial 'mandatory profile' question. The wording was something like this: 'A user has a roaming user profile, the Server where the profile is stored is offline. The profile is mandatory. How will this affect the user?' Very tricky/incorrect wording. In the MS Press book I used it covers roaming personal user profiles and roaming mandatory user profiles; nothing about mandatory profiles. There is another dump in this section that mentioned a white-paper on profiles/policys on MS's web site on this. I downloaded it today before the test. It states, that to make a roaming personal profile a roaming mandatory profile, rename the ntuser.dat to ntuser.man. If, and here's the catch, you would also like to prevent the user from logging on if the server's offline, in addition to renaming ntuser, rename the folder that it's located in by adding '.man' to the end of the folder name. The question on the test doesn't provide enough information for you to make the correct choice. Of course, in this case, the right answer isn't the correct answer for the test!! Makes you wonder, how many other test questions are requiring you to choose the 'wrong' answer!! By the way, today I saw a dump from someone who scored 1000 and they chose "user can't log on". So.... I chose that also. Very frustrating. |
Thanks to everyone for contributing to this site. I passed
10/30/98 with an 836. Not spectacular, but a pass is a pass. Unfortunately I can't
give specific questions (because I honestly don't remember!), but the other
braindumps definitely help. Know RAS and Novell connectivity fairly well (I only got 50%
in connectivity), as well as fault tolerance. Transcenders work! I think there was only
about 5 questions on the test that weren't in Transcenders. I used Transcenders
(pirating is such an ugly word), Exam Cram, and IDG's MCSE Windows NT book by Alan Carter
(prepares you for all 3 NT exams and is HIGHLY recommended if you want to learn NT, not
cram for the exam)2 down, 4 to go! Don |
Just pass Server. Shame to say, but only got 854 points...
well... I pass. Recommendation: Read the books and BRAINDUMP !!! I had 7(!) Question about Performance Monitor 7(!) ----------------------- RAS ( not easy ones ! ) 2 ------------------------- ARC ( ARC is easy, just try to understand them in first place ) Don't even try to pass Exam without Transender Exam Training Thank you everyone for help |
Managed to get past the Server test today with a 909.
I don't recall any of the questions specifically, but I do recall that there were
about 8 questions on RAS and another 9 on NetWare/NT connectivity. Randy |
passed the server test yesterday with 891!! brain
dumps were a big, big help. i used marc's for the most part and pepito's as a study
guide. there were some changes and rewording that i might have gotten caught by but
other than that the dumps were right on here are the ones i was confused on: i had 50% down cold -- 10% got down to 2 choices which i thought were definitely a judgement -- call had to guess even if i had reference materials i couldnt have know for sure. 1 question on auditing i had no idea. Went to a $2000 training course which was very little help for passing the test it gave a little hands on experience --my advice is to go over the dumps and cramsession -- hope this helps .... thanks to everyone chackman |
Hi! I passed the exam on November 6 and got 927/1000. The only word I can say is take a look of the Brain dump in this site (from the old one to the new one). My exams all of the questions already came from here BUT don't trust some of the answers, they might be wrong. Oh!!! Especially some people might have collect all the dumps questions and get one full (40) questions.... Must take a look at it because all the questions MUST came from there... If you read through the dump questions in this site and can solve your answer... You will have no problem to pass your exam.... Jacky |
Hello to all. The past Wednesday 8 of November of 1998 I
took the examination of NT Server. I passed it with a score of 909. The examination
was a little rare, seemed of NT 3,51 not of NT 4.0. My recommendation: read the questions
very well. The Braindumps is great help, but in this occasion the questions were a little
different from which appears in braindumps. My gratefulness again by all the people
who have made the effort write down in this site the questions that have done to them. I
did not have the opportunity to copy none since the single time I am reached to review the
questions, understand braindumps well. Have well-taken care of. CarlosM. |
Thanks for the Brain Dumps. Just took the NT Server 4 exam for the first time today and passed with an 891. If you know the basic rules for permissions, users, moving files( always inherit unless moving on the same NTFS partition ), ARC path syntax(tip: always "multi" except SCSI with bios disabled and to remember all the 0's and 1's Hardware #'s start with 0, and software ie;partitions always start with 1), and fault tolerance you can figure most of those questions out by process of elimination. Just watch the wording VERY carefully, because one word ( copy vs. move ) will completely change the answer of the question(and you'll be given both answers). Also little things like restoring a stripe set with parity, one answer will say choose regenerate from the "fault tolerance" menu, and another will say choose regenerate from the "partition" menu, so be careful. The best tip I can offer is KNOW, and I mean KNOW all you can about Netware connectivity and migration, RAS, and Performance Monitor. Probably 60% of my test was on those three topics. Use the Brain Dumps and Transcenders and you will succeed! MCP2MCSE |
Howdy folks. Just wanted to say that took the 067 test, scored 945. In my area at least, this test is not yet adaptive. Dave - Nov 11 |
Test Name:NT Server 4.0 Test # 70-67 Hi All Failed nt server 70-67 today with a 705 , my first taste of adaptive, starts of medium hard and then asks repeated questions on your weakest answers. Test format looks much the same and you can still mark answers for review later. Because of the nature of the test majority of questions will be unique to candidate so is there any point in posting questions ? The weird thing was lowest scores for me were in connectivity 48% , the server in enterprise I took immediately after scored 100% in connectivity and passed with an 830 ! Good luck everyone and if your thinking of doing some exams do it now before they all turn adaptive ADAPTIVE |
hey i just took nt server and passed with a 891 i want to thank " The Big Man Upstairs" for looking out for me and anwering my prayers. Im not going to go over all the questions because its all the same BUT IF YOU WANT TO DO WELL ON THIS TEST YOU SHOULD LOOK AT MARC'S BRAINDUMP TAKEN 2/98 AND THE MIXED BRAINDUMPS. IF YOU LEARN WHAT MARC HAS GIVEN IN THIS SITE YOU WILL DO WELL!!!!!!!!!! |
Hello to eveyone out there studying and crammin' away!! Just took the NT Server 4 exam and got an 872. My first exam. I am considered green in this industry so the exam was difficult in only that I had to study alot longer than most (1 month)! I will say this, take as much time as you need to prepare for this exam, don't rush because a buddy you know is doing a test per week (Do I sound bitter??), this exam is for your benefit ($$$$$) so do it right the first time. Unfortunately I can't remember every question, but I will say this, Transender, Braindump and the NT Server 4.0 Server study guide (read from front to back) gave me this pass. Check out Masood's Braindump, it is an excellent little review before stepping into the exam. I had a copy on me while going en route to the exam. Last night I read almost every Braindump and what is excellent is that the same questions keep coming up, (reinforces!!!!!) Transender has the exact same answers, except the questions are a little dif. in the exam. If you can get the full blown version of Transender you will guarantee a pass. Sorry I can't contribute some questions, if you don't have transender download their Demo. Most of these Braindumps have written down the answers that are the same in the exam. Goodluck to everyone!!!!!! TUNA |
most dependable siteI passed nt server 4 on 16-9-98 with 819all questions are from this site, especially pepito's site |
Greetings to all fellow MCSE qualfication pursuers,
dumpsters and the BDH BrainMaster of course. I did my exam yesterday 16th October in
London and i passed with 927. I think it's pretty good compaired to what i got the last
time which was 655! YUK!!! So thanks to the BDH BrainMasters and all the dumpsters who
made this possible. The exam was easy in my opinion though i did not spend much time doing it. I had 40 minutes left and clicked the end test knowing i am definitely passing with a good score. How was i that sure. BECAUSE OF ALL THE STUFF YOU GUYS POSTED IN TO THIS GREAT SITE!!!! Believe me most of the questions i got were the same questions that i saw on this site. There were a few questions of course that i hadn't seen. There was one question which is as follows, (pretty unique) Yuu need to allow the users dialing in to the ras server to be able to choose there own encryption level. PLease select the configuration option you would choose in this window (may not be the exact wording but that was the idea) Gives you the window in which can select any authentication, encrypted authentication, microsoft encrypted authentication. you know what i mean don't you? You have to place the cursor on the answer and click and it makes a big plus mark on it. I chose any authentication There was another question which was Your network consists of Windows 95 clients using 3rd party software. The 3rd party software only allows you to use DES. What is the highest encrypted authentication level you can configure? encrypted auhentication is what i chose. There were questions about whether to choose user/group account on netware/nt server. ? Remember these stuff! I am terribly sorry but that's all i can remember. However i must insist that it would be appropriate to read pepito's and marcs dumps definitely in addtion to the others. Passed three, three more to go. Thinking of doing enterprise workstationand exchange server. Wish me luck! Peace! |
Just wanted to say THANKS to everyone especially Pepito
and Marc for clarifying some of the most convoluted questions I have ever experienced
answering. I took NT Server 4.0 about 2 weeks ago from today and failed. After discovering
this wonderful braindump site I noticed a lot of questions were similar to the NT. Server
4.0 test I failed the first time. Covered the material thoroughly which helped me
tremendously at passing NT Server 4.0 with a score of 945 today. 2 Down 4 More to go.
Essentials is my next pass hopefully in 2-3 weeks. Thanks guys. Kelly Freeman Jackson |
What a fabulous site. Just passed the server today
(10-13-98) with a score of 927. I was finished within 30 minutes and spent the next 30
minutes going back over the test. I can honestly say this site helped tremendously. To keep my comments from repeating others' work, here are the "notes" to look at. The information from these people's input covered exactly the questions on my exam. There was nothing on my test that I hadn't seen before. Only the wording was slightly different. So here are the people to study: Thank You, Tom Mixer |
I took the NT Server 4.0 test today and passed with 945 in my first attempt. I have practically no experience in WinNT and if without this site, I doubt I could ever make it. Thanks to the BrainMasters for maintaining this fantastic site and all out there who had contributed. I should say that I'm very lucky as all the 55 questions in my exam today are all found in the site though some of them are phrased a little differently. So, I would not repeat the questions again. I would like to recommend the contribution by Mark Twain (30.5.98). This site has many of the questions that appears in my exam. Good Luck ! Spring |
Passed the test with 872 a few days ago. Hats off to those
of you who can still remember the questions so clearly days later. Unfortunately, I do not
have that ability, maybe the brain is turning to mush after all these years of abuse. Went
thru some af the early dumps and those from Pepito and Masood just about covered mine. MS
seem to changing the scenario questions a bit with some having more than 2 optional
results. Thanks to you all of your contributions. George |
Test #70-067 This isn't exactly a brain dump, but I feel like it applys to people who are about to take this test (such as myself). On an NTFS filesystem, is it correct to say that when a user belongs to two different groups and the groups have different permissions for a file, then NT uses the LEAST restrictive priviledge? Take it one step further. A user belongs to two different groups and the groups have different permissions for a share, the NT uses the MOST restrictive priviledge? This is how I understand it, but correct me if I am wrong. |
The Internet has really evolved. You have really become a
name among those Jedy MCSEs. I passed my NT4.0 Enterprise yesterday, I passed it thanks to the one you guys seem to forget. GOD. The natural force that is there when we say how in the F*** did I do that. The Gxxx way, thats how. Please remind your users that passing an exam does not constitute a a knowledge for the real world. SMS, Proxy, or IIS 4.0, what should I take? If there is any one out there that could advice please do I would really appriate it. Byron |
Thanks for your help, I took NT Server last Friday, scored 890. I aced every topic apart from CONECTIVITY. Anyone taking server read and research this topic. What protocols can access what applications thro RAS. It blew me away, I was not a happy bear. Everything else was as expected. Brendan |
Hi Brain master Many thanks for hosting this site.Last weneday I got through from NT Server 4.I scored 927 thanks for your site.I think anyone can go through Marc's dumps and Dutchman's dumps sure you can succeed .So I saw may questions were similar to those two dumps but they have change some wordings. Once again Many thanks Wilson |
Was fortunate enough to get 1000 on the NT Server test. Never even pulled that off with Transcender. Big picture tips:
1. Be very careful with these dumps. There are a few wrong answers, especially from those individuals scoring in the 800 range. 2. I find Transcender and Exam Cram to be the two most valuable tools (in addition to this site). 3. NT Server test has plenty of questions on NetWare integration and disk fault tolerance. My test had 17 questions on these two topics. Know them cold. |
Hi all! Just passed my NT Server 4.0 today with a 909. This was my second time around and I probably wouldn't of passed with out the help of this sight. It would be redundant of me to list everything that past braindumpers listed on this page. So instead, I recommend visiting marc, lycos, anon, and axel. Some of these braindumps will be verbatim on the actual test. Thanks to all who contributed. Mr.MCP |
Firstly I would like to thank you all for helping me pass my exam. I
wrote the exam today and passed with 85%. All the question and answers was supplied
by Axle. To him I give additional thanks.
Once again thank you. I recommend everyone who has the intention of writing NT Server 4 to read Axle's 22 page question and answers. Leon |
Looking through many of the braindumps in this
section(70-67), there still exists a split on the correct answer to the mandatory profile
question. The question states that if you log on to a local workstation with a mandatory
profile and the PDC is down - what happens. I have tried to research this and come up with
many different answers. Could someone settle this once and for all with some actual
supported evidence? This would be greatly appreciated... Jon |
I passed the 4.0 server test today with a 981 score. I
just wanted to thank all the people whom contributed this site making things easier for
all of striving for MCSE certification. Resources I wanted to state between the Transcender tests and this site everything was covered. Understand the basic concepts of Domains and groups and you will be able to grasp the other problems much easier. Thanks again to all the people who contributed to this site |
Passed with a 782 August 20. I didn't blow the doors off
the test but when it comes down to it, whether I passed by 18 or 180, I passed. Read every
dump you see here and check the answers over until you can do it in your sleep, then relax
and take the test. Know your TCP/IP and how DHCP servers work. Netware was on the test
about seven times. Also, know your groups, permissions and policies. You've read it 100
times, what's once more between friends :) Now some test taking advice This was my 2nd try at this test. This time I tried something different. The first time I took the test, I just sat down and went for it. I panicked, floundered and failed. I let Microsoft's convoluted wording confuse me and that was my downfall. This time, I decided to level the field. You can take advantage of this technique during your attempt. If you are like me, you've studied this subject ad nauseum. You've read at least 300 pages. You've played with the 120 day Server copy, set up accounts and policies, Played with your RAS connection and migrated a Netware server or two, at least in theory. Now that it's test time you need to keep your responses focused. So take the 10-15 seconds to diagram out the problems that are confusing. When you see the actual components, all the extra effluent that is jam packed in every Microsoft question, falls away, allowing you a fair chance to answer the question. Anyway, there is my two cents. |
