Subject: 70-67 Braindump
I just passed the NT Server 4.0 Exam with a score of 927. This is my
second attempt at the exam.
I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: Do not take the answers provided in these
braindumps to heart, including the ones I am giving you here. Look each
and every single one up, because so many times I have seen them posted
with incorrect answers. If I wasn't so lazy and had looked them up, I
wouldn't have needed to take this exam twice. I failed the first time by
one question, and I probably would have gotten it right if I had
verified info I found here.
I had one strange question that I didn't seem to have an entirely
correct answer.
You are moving a Netware 3.1 to a location with an NT server and 30
Win95 clients. What do you need to do to the NT server and the clients
so that they can access resources on the Netware server?
A couple of the answers didn't mention anything about GSNW, so those I
ruled out right away. But the ones that did didn't mention anything
about NWLink, just installing or removing Client for Netware. I don't
remember what I chose, but I'm sure it was probably wrong.
You install the HP printer and can't see it's port. What's wrong?
- DLC isn't installed
The damn mandatory profile and the DC goes down question. It was phrased
differently than the last time I took this exam, and it makes all the
difference. Here's the profile thing in a nutshell:
- If the profile is a roaming profile, the user can
still log in, and
will receive the default profile.
- If the profile is mandatory and the user has never
logged onto
the machine before HE CANNOT log in. If he has logged
on
before, there will be a cached copy of the profile and
he can log
on.
Please, please, PLEASE be careful when you read this question. The
question I got today dealt with mandatory profiles and didn't mention
whether or not the machine had been logged onto before, so I put that
the user couldn't log in.

Want to collect data to view over a weeks period of time. What view? Log
You have 4 250MB partitions and want to create a stripe set with parity.
How much space is available for data. 750MB. This is the most commonly
misanswered question I find in braindumps. You need one partition to be
used for the parity information, so the answer is obviously not 1000MB.
Also, ask yourself, would you ever get a question that was as easy as 4
X 250?
Got an exhibit where I needed to place a cross over the appropriate
encryption to use in a RAS dialog box.
You have server tools installed on a 95 machine. How do you edit shares?
Server Monitor
You want to find out what operating system and version all computers in
domain are using. What tool? Choices are things like network applet in
control panel, performance monitor, server monitor, and I can't
remember. I chose server monitor.
How do you turn a PDC into a file server?
That's about all I could remember. All the other questions were
mentioned somewhere in other braindumps.
Good Luck!
