Hi all, I just passed my exam this morning on 10/24/98 with a score of  963/1000. I was shooting for 1000 after I realized that all the questions were similar to the previous Dumps. believe it or not I new the answer even before I complete the reading. thanks for every one who contributed and Zillion thanks to this site. YOU MADE MY LIFE   EASIER. Therefore I would myself pay back for your generosity as much as I could. Instead of listing the same questions I will list the one I did not see previously or the more difficult ones.

1 Q: You want to share a resource on a NetWare server from NT server using the GateWay. And you are located on a Win95 workstation with Client Admin Tools
From were you set up the Share?
a- from the Gateway properties
b- from the win95 Explorer
c- from the share in Server manager
d- Blah, Blah, Blah,

I chose (a) But I am not sure. CHECK IT OUT PLS.... all previous dumps never mentioned from where you activate the share but they talk a lot about needing a Share !!!!!!!!!!!!

2 Q: you have  work station and other  ALL  using NetWare clients they want to connect to a  NT server  for SQL database apps What must be installed on the server?( it was confusing because they did not mention if it was a NetWare network. I guess I did not took time to understand the Question)

I chose GSNW, but I realized later that I made a mistake. You need NWlink and (RIP for IPX/SPX if it is a NetWare Network ) because ALL clients were usning NetWare. Where as you would use GSNW if you have a MS clients and you want to connect to a NetWare server through an  NT  Network

3 Q: you have 3 NT server running TCP/IP you want to monitor the % of disk space on the server from a workstation  what must you do?

a- Install SNMP on the 3 Servers
b- Install SNMP on the work station
c- use performance monitor to  enable the disk counter on all LOGICAL drives and set an alert and type your user name
d- use server manager and add your computer to the list in the alert option

That was a good tricky question of wether you choose between TCP/IP traps or performance counters. In (C) I think you have to use computer name not user name.   (D) is possible if they had mentioned to you that counters are already activated, But nothing was said!!! So I think (A) is the correct Choice.

4 Q: THE FAMOUS PUZZLE WHEN THE PDC IS DOWN CAN YOU STILL BE ABLE TO LOG IN IF YOU HAVE A .MAN PROFILE??????????????

I CHOSE NO, I got 90% on managing resources but I am sure I made mistakes on other issues.

Notes: I did not have any Questions about DHCP, UNIX, GROUPS, HOST AND NAME RESOLUTIONS, OR DOMAIN TRUSTS.

Well here a bit of a good advice try to save some Dumps on your local drive for all the test you may take in the future because you will never KNOW when this site will shut down (MAY GOD FORBID) just as it happened to the LANSCOUT web site. Pls. do not take this a an offend rather just of a helpful advice.
