http://www.LearnQuick.ComImplementing and Support NT Server4 is NOW ADAPTIVE!!!
I just completed this exam at Stoneham, MA USA and found it with the new adaptive testing style. This totally caught me off guard be cause I was expecting the usual 55 questions.
Anyhow I did pretty poorly but enough to pass the exam. Everything that I studied most on like RAS I wasn't even asked.
Here's some questions I got:
1. 5 Netware LANs connected by routers with 100 Netware clients. You install an NT server. What does it need in order to access files and printers on the network?
IPX frame types on the network
network id's of the servers, etc.
2. What happens when you copy files from NTFS partition to FAT?
retain longfilenames, lose file permissions
3. Permissions question with a user part of a group containing no access.
4. Install a NT SQL server onto a Netware network. What does the clients need in order to connect to the server.
Nwlink IPX/SPX protocol
5. Install a HP printer but you can't see the HP printer port.
DLC is not installed
6. What do you do if your NT server is paging excessively?
Install more ram.
7. Question about SCSI bios enabled one disk fails what is the proper ARC path?
scsi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(2)
8. What needs to be done for domain administrators to receive alerts on servers?
I mainly studied Sybex book (which really sucks) and the braindump from Axel. Was shocked to see it adaptive after all the people on this site say it wasn't.
Good luck.
