I just came back after taking the exam dated: 27 Jan, 1999. Believe it or not NT Server 4.0 is now Adaptive.   This was my first exam in the series of 6 i.e., 5 more to go...

Questions on Exam:

Some Questions were new and some were straight form braindumps others were thoes if u have the concept u could get it done. I just remember 2 questions which are given below....

1. Replication

Domain Name is DOMAIN1, you have 1 PDC 2/3 BDC 3 Member SErvers, Some NT Workstations and win95 clients.  Exhibit included a snapshot of Replicatiuon window and in Left window "To List:" it said DOMAIN1 (only) Options Sellect all that apply:

a) will replicate to all BDCs that are configured to Import

b)will replicate to all Member Servers that are configured to import

c)will replicate to all NT Workstations that are configured to import

d)will replicate to all W95 that are configured to import

  I chose a, b, c

2. Stripe Set w/ Parity (Slighly Tricky --- atleast for me during the exam...)   Typical Stripsets w/Parity situations....One member fails u replace it with new one

a) some option

b)Select the other members and same area from new member and regenerate

c)Select the new member create a partition of same size as other member individuall has and create a partition and then regenerate

d) some option

I chose C....

3. I had 1 Arc path, 1 RAS, 2 set permissions in explorer type and 2 binding order and 1 Scaniro (concptual) 2 NWLINK (NetBIOS client/server applications) questions. i.e., 10 questions other 15 i cannot even recall.

goodluck to thoes who r going to go and take the exam...I have to go and prepare for my workstation exam which is in 2 days from now i.e., 29 Jan, 1999.
