Thanks Robert! Without the help of this site, it is very difficult for me to pass the test. I passed NT4 server (70-67) test this morning (6/29/98) here in US.

 The main purpose of this writing is to encourage those who are:

1. English is not the first language

2. With no or a little experience about Windows NT

This is my first test and I am a chemist with a little computer experience. I spent two months (most evenings and weekend) to prepare. The materials I used are 1. Exam Cram 2. Sybex's and Transcender's test. Other than that I also read a little here and there. Of cause this site is invaluable! After a month's study, I took the Transcender's Test, only go around 630 and I have to prolong my testing schedule (6/15 to 6/29) and I keep studying and practicing until I saw the answer I know the question and vice versa. But still, not enough in today's test I still got several wrongs.

So DON'T GIVE UP, KEEP TRYING AND YOU WILL BE  SUCCESS.

Although I only passed the first one there is a long way to go, I encourage myself keep going!

 Most the testing questions today were appeared on this site as well as transcender's.

I put some I feel I'm not sure.

 In some questions, there is a calculator, actually it doesn't need. So don't click it save your time.

1. Want to promote BDC to PDC

a. Demot PDC ¦

c. Shut down PDC and promote BDC, when original PDC in on, it will automatically, demoted

d. Shut down PDC, BDC will automatically proteted I saw this kind of questions, but the choice is different. It seemds #3 is the only choice, but still not correct.

2. workstations moved from the Branch office to the Headquarters in a domain named CENTRAL. You want that the Branch office's workstation become member of the CENTRAL domain.

a. The Domain Administrator use the server manager to add the workstation in the domain. The workstation administrator must log at each workstation to join the domain

b. The Domain Administrator must log at each workstation and create a computer account in the domain and then join it

c. The workstation administrator must log at each workstation to create the computer account in the domain then join it.

d. The workstation administrator must reinstall Windows NT and configure the workstation to join the domain.

 3. . Qustion with exhibit showing import/export setup for PDC in domain XYZ, in the box for Export to, it shows Domain 1. To which machines will this machines export?

I saw this question before, but I never saw the chart. So try to find NT server and get familiar with it.

I choose BDC, NT server and NT workstation.

4. How to creat 3 set up disks . Choose only one
