Passed the Server Exam today and have a couple of clarifications:

1.  There has been several comments about the infamous Mandatory User Profile with the PDC down question.  I had that question as well.  Transcender asks "then what will occur when users who have previously logged on successfully now log on to the domain"  The correct answer to the Transcender states "since the mandatory profile is unavailable, each user's locally cached profile will appear"  This IS correct however the user is NOT connected to the Network (and if I am not mistaken a dialog box pops up to tell you so).  The certification exam has the same type of question but the correct answer is the user can not log on to the network. but the locally cached user profile (or the default profile, if the user has never logged on before) will still appear on the desktop.

2.  Backing up the Registry - while it is true that you do have to select at least one file on the volume that contains the registry in order to back it up in reality all selecting that file does is enable the checkbox in NT Backup allowing you to choose to backup the Registry.  Transcender has questions where the correct answer is something like choose back up Registry.  The certification exam has a question that has a correct answer of choose at least one file on the volume containing the Registry.  In reality BOTH of these tasks must be accomplished to backup the Registry.

All of the questions that i had on my test were here but be sure to know RAS.  I must have had at LEAST six questions about RAS
