NT Server in the Enterprise 70-68

DUMP by Bengal Tiger

Just finsihed the Ent Exam 70-68. Thanks to all the brain dump questions. My tip to all is

check out Yancy, check out Marks Dump (with all the Yancy aswers, but mind you some of them are wrong). Also don't rely on just the Yancy dump checkout some of the other recent dumps as well.

My advice to all is to study PROFILE, POLICIES AND GROUPS, because these question do not appear anywhere on the DUMPS so read your materials (Sybex, New Rider, MOC etc) and understand it well.

Here are some questions I faced.

RAS/CONNECTIVITY

2 Ras Questions, 1 with answer meeting just the required and optional. The second is one meeting all the option, here answer states Check Data Encrytion Box.

Other Coonectivity questions included MS Redirector and NWLINLK protocol question pretaining to migration.

BACKUP

All Backup questions, both the Yancy questions but an additional one where you don't have to go through scenarios. The question goes something like this: Backup 3 domins and want to also backup mem server & Work Station. answer is Create GG group called Corp.Backup and add users put into backup operators group in each domain. MS tries to throw U off with BS answers like create trust and backup & restore permission. Answr is simple if U understand the the purpose of BACK OPERTORS group (its to back Mem Server & Worksatation) then U will have no problem.

TRUST

Chicago Caracas question was there, same as Yancy. The trick question where all the proposed solutions are given except for placing BDC, which means WAN traffice is still not met and does not meet even the required results. Single domain questions are there.

There was a question about 3 domains and 2 of the domains needed access to the 3rd domain how would U configiure this?

DISK MANAGEMENT

The ususal stripe set with parity question. The trick question of 6 disk and one of the stripe set with parity disks fails how to fix it. Be careful of the answer it actually states Repair Stripe Set (which mean stripe set without parity). READ CAREFULLY. Also the question on 5 SCSI disks, 1st disk is BOOT and the rest of the five is STRIPE WITH PARITY, the the first disk fails (one w/boot) what to do. The correct answer is

Restore disk, recreate strip w/ pairty and restor registry form tape Backup, NOT from Orginal ERD.

The question on Pulse Setting (know what it is and the difference between Pulse Concurrecny & P. Setting)

The question on Response Probe

The question on Protocol==DHCP

The question on RIP for IP (with two subnet, and both equipped with DHCP server, which eliminates DHCP Relay Agent as the answer) the give away here is they NT Server is acting as a router.

Printer question form Yancy with Long Scenario withACCT group. (answer is meet required and both optional)

Printer question about Laserjet pritners where the printer is moved from 1 domain to another and how do U let the original group use it. Answer create trust, Create GLOBAL GROUP put original print users and then put this GG into the local printers group.

I hope I have helped someone w/my dumps. Make sure U go prepAred, read the dumps ingore the answers and research them yourself. Most of the qeustions are here IN BDH, its just a matter of understanding the question because the in the EXAM questions seem different as do some of the Proposed solutions.

I am off to TCP/IP now, this one is gonna be tough.
