Test Name: Windows NT server in the Enterprise
  Test # 70-68

Well I took the NT Serer in the Enterprise today (Jan. 27, 1999) and here are my thoughts:

Took the test at Sylvan Prometric and it was adaptive.   I had to take all 25 questions, and passed with a 664.  I nearly aced NT workstation and NT server in my previous 2 exams.  This was harder.  I only studied the transcenders this time and i think i paid for it with a low score.  I had 1 bad question on the test which was something like this:

Analyze the following log from network monitor and select which of the following was indicated:

a. DCHP request
b. user browing web site
c. wins request
d. dns request

when i clicked on the corresponding attachment to the question it showed me something like a visio diagram of 2 computers and a server.   nothing related to the question, except for "nt server" next the the server and "Nt workstation" next to each workstation.  i had the testing center print my question with the attachment on the screen so i could fight the question if needed.  they agreed that the qestion was incorrect, but they couldn't do anything..fortunately i passed...BEWARE new tests.  i guess this one had a problem.

Anyways i had another question on routing an ethernet network to an appletalk network with an nt server. you had to check which 2 things were necessary.  had 4 scenario questions on trust relationships that dealt with reducing logon or browsing traffic over WAN's.  had 2 questions on share permissions, and at least 3 on groups and which groups are able to perform specific functions, like "which groups can backup the server" or "if someone is a member of the server operators group, which of the following tasks can they perform?".

that is all i remember, hope it helps and good luck.   net essentials in next in a couple days.
