This test is NOW ADAPTIVE

Hi

Just did the enterprise exam. It is adaptive as of today according to the testing center (Australia).

They changed the scenario questions. You get a list of requirements, a list of action taken and instead of the: meets requirement and one optional etc, you get another list with answers. You then have to tick  the ones that fullfill anything of the above. I had two of them and  found them quite hard.

I had 15 adaptive questions and 10 old style.

Cheers

BamBam

Just took NT Server 4.0 In the Enterprise. Test 70-68 It is now adaptive, I had to take it twice that way so yes I'm sure. I don't have anything new to add ( bad memory). I can recommend Mark's, Keith's, Kewlkid, Drunknmaster, and Que's braindumps.

When you take the test, just make sure you read the question and understand it. There's no excuse for not reading it as many times as it take as there is now plenty of time.

One thing that puzzled me was that both times I took it, the problem said I would get an exhibit showing Network Monitor but the first time I got a picture of Event Viewer and the second time I got an Exhibit of some network configuration. Screwed me up but oh well. Good luck all.

Test # 70-068

I took the test two weeks ago, it was the non-adaptive test. Went back today and found that this time they through the adaptive test at me. I did not even know this test was offered adaptive. I did pass this time but did notice that they had some new questions on the test that I did not see in any of the dumps. Fortunately about fifteen of the 25 I recognized and most likely nailed those.

I wish I could remember most of the questions that were not familiar but I was in panic mode at that time and did not remember.

Good Luck....

i am not much of a typer but i thought i would give some input.  29/01/99 i took the enterprise exam.  it was 70% adaptive and 30% regular.  It wasn't as hard as i was expecting.  the test was in two parts,  the first 15 (or could be as many as 25) questions were adaptive and the second part was 10 normal questions.  each part had its own time limit.  my first part tripped out after 15 questions so i felt pretty good at that point.  my overall impression of this test (i've written cna (adaptive), nt srvr and ntwrkstn) was, after three weeks of study and two days of discovering dumps etc, was that there were no surprises and some surprisingly easy questions.  i think getting the first two difficult ones correct (if i did) helped.  i did study very hard and even harder after reading here about how tough it was.  hope this helps.  kevin

1/29/99

Test Name:NT Enterprise 4.0  / Test #70-068

I failed with a 543 out of 560, yup, one question.

I primarily used experience and the transenders to prepare. Only 3 questions on this test (adaptive) were from the transenders. I was scoring 1000 out of 1000 on the transcenders.

This test totally kicked my butt. Then again, I'm lousy at m/c tests. I was so frazzled I remember very few of the questions. I think there were two that wanted specific domain group properties to be known (I personally have never bothered to memorize which ones are for server and which ones are for workstation--who needs that for their job?).

Test Name = Windows NT Server in the Enterprise
Test # = 70-068

Whoo-hoo! Me and my cohort took the Enterprise and passed it! Bad news if you haven't heard already is its... Adaptive. Being Adaptive, there's not much dumping to be done as you will certainly get different questions. My advice would be to study hard in the profiles field. His advice would be to study hard in the domains field. Good luck

-"Whatever it takes.", right Eckard?

70-068 Server in Enterprise, is adaptive in the UK (29 jan 99). Had 25 questions in 90 minutes. The usual topics covered, used transcenders and exam cram book(excellent)!  Passing score is now 560. I got 616, a pass, is a pass!!!!

Passed Enterprise today with a score of 560. Yes, that's right, 560.  Apparently I missed the announcement of Enterprise going adaptive. What a joke. I was totally prepared to manage my time by skipping the scenarios and returning to them. WRONG, your answer better be correct the first time because once you move on to the next question that's it!

The instructions explain that you may receive 25 to 35 questions depending on your answers.   I wish I could help you with some of the test information. I had only three gimmes, and believe it or not only two scenario style questions.

I thought for sure I would be writing another check to prometric. Some how I passed. I used Transcender and this marvelous address to prepare.

Oh one last thing. When you finish your test, whether you pass or not, you will not receive any scores relative to the different areas (i.e. Monitoring, Troubleshooting, etc...). So if you fail there is really no way you can be certain what area you need to study the most. I have one to go, Essentials. Good Luck all.

Penske

I passed a very difficult Microsoft Exam.

I used "Microsoft Education and Certification...Supporting Microsoft Windows NT 4 Enterprise Technologies"  (Labs and Textbook)

THE ENTERPRISE EXAM HAS BEEN GIVEN A MAKEOVER.  It is now ADAPTIVE.  And almost all of the questions are different than what you would find here. If you don't know, in an ADAPTIVE exam you are not permitted to go back and change your answers once you hit the "next" button for each question. The old rules on time management go out the window. You may be given 1 hour and a half, but if you do well you may only receive 20 questions or so.

I just got back from taking the exam and found that I had to rely on what I learned from classes and labs. This Braindump site did not help me much at all for this exam, I am sorry to say.  don't get me wrong though....  look through these questions here cause it may help you realize what you don't know so you can go back and study "better". That may have helped me out.

Study Well and Good Luck

wholehearted

I just passed the (Adaptive) Enterprise Exam Today with a 692. (560 passing).

This site along with the Microsoft study guides and Transcenders were a Great help.

I found this test format to be a little less of a reading Novel.... Just know your

material, and you have plenty of time. 15-25 questions, an additional (10) if you need them. The test stopped at 25 for me.

Thanks to Everyone that has contributed.

           Good Luck,

        Walter

Passed NT Server in the Enterprise today, 1-27-1999. This test was  adaptive (it went adaptive, as well as 70-067 on 1-22-1999). 15-25 questions, I got 25. After the test there are 10 questions from Microsoft, basically a survey, not relevant to your score. Passing score is 560 now, I got a 758 (not bad I think). Materials used:

Transcenders, this site, other web sites (good notes out there if you look), the MS PEP tests (hey, they're FREE!), New Riders NT Server Enterprise book (which was 90% re-hash from the NT Server book, take NT  Server first!), and other practice test programs from other companies  (some of which have errors! So be careful!) This test was a BITCH!! Don't let anyone fool you into memorizing dumps and Transcenders will make you pass. There were VERY FEW questions from either the dumps or the Transcenders. There were no questions from Yancy's dump (that's right, I said NO questions!) You need to know your shit COLD...there were about 5-6 scenario's, fault tolerance questions, a couple netware migration questions.

For the record, Mark (9.30.98) has several wrong answers for Yancy's braindumps, here they are: 10, 15 (no answer given), 17, 18, 20, 30, 35, 39 (again, no answer given), and 45. I don't know how he answered 27 considering the question is incomplete. Question 29 has typos, I don't know how accurate that answer is as well.

Well, that's it. Hope this helps all of you. STUDY HARD is the best advice I can give you!

3 down, 3 to go...onto Networking Essentials...

I just passed the Server on the Enterprise an Hour ago and I was suprised to find it was adaptive. Nowhere in the Sites documentation does it say anything about being adaptive. This was the second time taking the test and I was in a hurry to get to the test part so I clicked quickly past all of the front clutter. Then soon I found that I could not mark or review questions. I then Questioned the site coordinator, she said her documents show a standard test. When I was kicked out after 26 questions I knew for sure.

I use your site alot and it has helped greatly to get by these tests. Thanks to everyone!

P.S. I am so focused on passing the test I have trouble remembering the test questions let alone word for word.

On to the next mountain!!!

The Computer Guy

SURPRISE KIDDIES !!!

STARTING ON MONDAY JAN 25,1999 MICROSOFT HAS MADE THE   ENTERPRISE 70-68 CERT TEST ADAPTIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT HAS 10 NORMAL QUESTIONS ADDED TO THE 15 ADAPTIVE, AND MAY GO HIGH AS 35 QUESTIONS. MINE CUT- OUT AT 25 QUESTIONS........

I PASSED WITH A 564 OUT OF A REQUIRED 560, I HOPE THAT MEANS THAT I DID WELL. I WON'T EVEN BEGIN TO REASON WHY THE ODD-BALL SCORING THAT BIG DADDY BILL'S ORGANIZATION HAS INFLICTED UPON US.

LOTS OF SCENARIO QUESTIONS and MUCHO TRUSTS/PERMISSIONS/SHARE

REGARDS,
POPEYE

Hi,

I passed server in the enterprise today..26 January 1999.....IT HAS CHANGED TO ADAPTIVE FORMAT.

Passing score is 560. I had 25 questions. All of my questions 21 out of 25 were from Rock's and Yancy's braindumps on this site. I used no text book. I had the trencenders but they were ok.

I've passed all my core exams = essentials, workstation, server and  server in the enterprise on my first try by reading the braindumps on this site.

Good luck all.

Ricky

The NT Server Enterprise test has gone adaptive. 15-25 adaptive questions, 10 static questions, for a total between 25 and 35 questions. I ended up with 27 questions before the test ended. I'd suggest getting to know the domain models, performance monitor, and disk administrator like the back of your hand. There are other topics covered, but those seemed to take the majority. I didn't get to study like I'd planned when I scheduled the test, but going into it blind I passed with 621 of 1000. For preparation I took the Global (formerly ARG) Advanced NT class, and I've studied ForeFront, Transcender, Network Press, and Langan tests and preparation materials.

NT in the Enterprise, 70-68.

Today i barely passed for the adaptive version of NT enterprise.  We needed 560 and started with 25 questions. My score was 617!

Nobody told us that is was an adaptive, so that was a big suprise.

We believed that we were going to do the 51 question version, so imagine our suprise...

Anyway, it was tough!!! I passed for NT server with a good score, but that's no garanty to pass this one.

70% was about domains, trusts, groups and rights. Know this inside out!!!

Got two questions about fault tolerance, and four about netmon/perfmon.

If you did server, than concentrate on domains and trusts and you will pass!

Trancenders helped a lot, and of course braindumps heaven!!!!  MS pep tests are to simple!

Be carefull with the adaptive one's. No looking back to previous questions. Click next means that's it!

To everybody; good luck and may the force be with u!

Marcel.

Hallo all,.

Here is a great news..

NT Enterprise is now adaptive testing.

Min. Passing Score : 550  Questions: 25 - 35 questions.

This is from India took the exam on 23rd Jan 98. Too good of a news for all those new takers now.. no more fearing of time and lengthy questions. but some of questions were new..

rest are all from DUMP HEAVEN ! check out man...

Great site and one ROYAL Salute to All the contributors and Mainly BIG BIG THANKS TO SITE INCHARGE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!

NT ' ieee.

Passed 'NT Server 4.0 in the Enterprise' test this afternoon, with a 622.

What? You can't pass with a 622!!  Sure you can, now that the test is ADAPTIVE!!    560 is required minimum, and ALL questions (I was given 25) were either rewritten or completely new. (at least, they are not included in any of the postings on this site from as far back as 7/98) only 5 scenario questions, 3 of which included various trust relationships, 1 of disk fault tolerance, and the other of multiple location/master domain network, with multiple required results.

Know your Event Viewer, Network Monitor, Performance Monitor, and what you can do with each. Sharing resources across trusts is as important as everyone else on this site stresses it to be.

Good luck.

keez88

Passed Enterprise 1/5/99 with 921.

Be warned that time management is extremely important on this exam.   Heavy emphasis on lengthy, convoluted scenario questions. Simply knowing your material is not enough to pass this one; you have to have a test-taking strategy to use your limited time in the most effective manner:

The following strategy was recommended to me, and I found it very effective:

1) Grab low-hanging fruit first: On your first pass through the exam, skip all the lengthy scenario questions and any of the straightforward multiple choice questions you can't answer without eating up your time. Mark for review only the questions you're certain you need to come back to.

2) After the easy ones are finished, go back to the top and attack the scenario questions: Read the question carefully, sketching trust/permission relationships on your scratch pad as you go. Sketch  them even if an exhibit is provided. Then move immediately to the proposed solution. Focus only on whether the proposed solution meets required #1 and required #2. If it doesn't meet required #1 and #2,  mark option (D) on the test and move on. If it meets the requirements, go on to check off optional #1 and #2, but you are wasting precious seconds figuring out optionals if the requirements are not met.  If you've been doing your homework, you are already used to sketching out trust/permission situations. Microsoft's exhibits are there to confuse the situation (like putting important information in two or even three exhibits insteadh of consolidating it into one), not clarify it. Use the same sketching method you've been using in your exercises on the test.  If you're not certain take your best guess, mark it and move on.

3) After finishing the scenario questions, go back to the top and work on the marked questions. Spend your time on the questions you have a reasonable possibility of working out.

4) If you've got any time left, (and you won't have much), go back to the top and review all of the questions you haven't already been over.

Pass #1 took about 35 minutes. The scenario questions took another 30.  Marked questions took another 15, leaving 10 minutes for general review.

I was reviewing question #49 (of 51) when the clock ran out.  The most important factor is knowing the material on trusts and permissions cold. Next most important is working out a testing strategy that helps you make the most effective use of your limited time for this test. Finally, read every scenario question you can get your hands on (Transcenders, Microsoft's Pep test, this site) until you can evalulate and answer these quickly.

If I did it, so can you! Good luck.

Jake

Hey yall,

Passed Enterprise 70-068 with 823. Failed two weeks earlier with 744. Used the M$ training kit, Exam Cram, and Transcenders. Just wanted to pass on that the test I had was almost exactly like the one written by MCP. The one I failed was a little different. But If you get lucky enough to get the right one it's no problem. The first six questions were exactly the same. I even tried to come up with questions that were not listed but could not recollect any.

See Ya,

MCP2

To all,

Thanks for all your braindumps. I just passed the Enterprise (70 - 68) exam. I failed the first time around. Skip the scenario questions until the end. Keep an eye on your time. I failed first time because I ran out of time. The test is extremely long winded and very hard.  It is mentioned often in these dumps - know your stuff or you will fail.   I used Exam Cram as my self study guide. I also used Transcenders. Read all the dumps here for best results.

I will add one dump here, all the others are already posted elsewhere.

What to set the memory options in NT for a WINS Server???
Answer: the same as you would for an Access database, File and Print sharing. This I found by reading the TCP/IP Exam Cram book. It says WINS uses the Access engine.

I am still none the wiser about when you log onto another Domain, other than your own. Are you a member of Domain Users or Domain Guest. There are conflicting answers in the dumps.

Good luck to all who take this test.

John L.

Hi gang. I passed a non adaptive enterprise today with an 842. A  great big thanks to the folks that keep this site up.I shall echo all others and say this test is HARD There is no need for me spit out  any questions. There all right here in BD heaven except for a few 10 or 15 % that microsoft twists enough, so you had better know your stuff anyway. I do suggest printing out 15or so good ones and   verifying correct answers. I studied rediculousley, going over trusts, domain models, connectivity, and permissions until I was pretending I invented them. Well sure enough that was neccessary,  as well as going over my selected 250 or more practice questions a total of about 15 times 48 hours before the test. I owe a lot to Sybex for the Enterprise "MCSE Test" book that had 500 practice questions in it, this book hammerred the concepts into my noggin...and the price 19.95...the value of walking out of Prometric with the gold seal cert.....PRICELESS!

I also used exam cram and transcenders which are good for basics.  There is no way around this one they change up scenarios to ensure you know youre trusts, groups, domain models, connectivity and permissions. Simply, if you dont know them...your toast.....there are just not enough "gimmes"...Lots of scenarios. I got to start getting ready for SMS or TCP/IP, or IIS or something.

Thanks Again, Cheers to ya :-)

G.E. Murphy

This exam is very hard, and Microsoft has really added a bunch of new twists to watch out for. Also, disregard most of these braindumps, especially Mark's. He answers Yancy's questions allright, mostly all INCORRECTLY!
Hi all, I passed my exam today (not adaptive) 11/16/98 scoring 921/1000 on the second attempt in the same day. At the first exam I missed only one question, I scored 764/1000 required 784. Bad luck eh.... Well here is a good trick you may benefit from it if you have to take the exam twice in the same day or in a short period. Change the test center because if you got beaten by hard questions and you was'nt ready in the first place to pass with confidence (other wise you would have passed) than the odds that you would find it hard to answer the same questions again even if you know that they would be repeated. But by changing the test center you will have a different pool and you will get easier and sweeter question than before and you will never believe how different pools differ from each other in difficulties. That what happened to me and I was so happy.

As for the questions I am not able to state them but 90% were from the dumps, but I think you have to know the material for that test because you may face a lot of scenario questions. I had 16 in the first  and about 8 in the second.

God bless you all
See you in other section

Test Name: Implementing and Supporting Windows NT Server 4.0 in the Enterprise (70-068)

Took the test this morning. It was a breeze, thanks to you guys. Got done in less than 60 minutes. About 90% of the questions/scenarios are covered already. Repeating anything would simply be redundant. Transenders helped but questions covered on this site were more on target with the actual exam. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

4 down, 2 to go!!!

Hey, great site! I passed Enterprise today with a 921. Yancy's Enterprise braindump was my exam!! Excellent study tool. If you combine Yancy's dump and Weekend's answers, you will do fine. Remember, In order to get data encryption over RAS you MUST check require data encryption box in the config screen for your data to be encrypted!!. If you don't agree take a look at your RAS server! Microsoft didn't put that there for their health! Good Luck!

MCSE?wait,that's me!!

I passed Enterprise today to complete all 6 tests.IT took exactly 3 months begining with NTServer on 15Oct98.The best tip I can give you is to tell you how I prepared for each test.I started with the Microsoft self-paced training book for the particular exam.after reading book,I downloaded a text-to-speech reader. Then I went to www.cramsession.com and then, using the edit menu, copy and pasted the cramsession to a new text file on my desktop. After configuring the text reader's pitch and speed,I simply let the reader read the file TO me, as well as displaying the text one sentence at a time.It gave me the freedom to study while getting dressed, shaving etc.

Finally, use the transcenders to test your absorbtion of the data.If you can ace the transcenders you are ready for the real test.  Good Luck to All!

LinuxWalt

My thanks to those responsible for maintaining this site.Passed the Enterprise exam with an 842 on the 28th of  December, not excellent but good enough. Most of the questions met I have seen them on this site. Of  immense use was Marks braindump togather with popular Yancy. Please just use the answers on this site as research.

Many thanks to all who contribute to this site. 3 down ( Server,Enterprise,Workstation) , 3 to go.

To everybody:

I just took the NT enterprise test. Just passed with a 784. Here is hat I remember:

novell xfer of accounts to NT

Novell clients connecting to SQL database on NT

RAS permissions, Encrypted passwords, data exchange

Novell transfer accounts to Win NT

Memory settings for PDC with a Access DB on it decrease WAN DHCP traffic accross a WAN link

As for studying for the test I advice 4 things- braindumps, LearnQuick.Com (great class!), dump2exam (especially with the braindumps!!) and transcender.

Hi! All

I've passed my 70-068 with 960!

ALMOST All ? were from this site!

Almost but not all.

One that confuised me was following...

You have your own application that you have to install on 25 WinNT Workstation and You want to add some appls settings to registry, You do this through System Police (???????). How should you do?

a. Something about import <apps>.ini in SP Editor

b. Something about import registry subtree from Registry Editor to SP Editor

c. Make system police template file with your own registry keys

d. Something

I answered C and it's right because I had 100% on all except Connectivity (83%)

Good luck.

NT Server 4.0 in the Enterprise - 70-068

I passed this test today with a good score. Thanks for this web site.  Just wanted to give my 2 cents. About 35-40 questions of 51 from the brain dumps I used appeared on the test. First of all, I used MCSE for Dummies ($26 and easy reading, to the point) and ~225 braindump questions (Yancy,MCP,and 3 others). I have one computer with NT server. Check all answers to brain dumps. It focuses your study as many people have stated. There is at least one site, I believe (yes an accusation!) that is publishing incorrect answers deliberately. I won't mention the name but an example of a question:

What are the resulting permissions if your combine Read,Change,No access? Read.

Come on now! Is that your way of making people check answers?

Otherwise, this site WILL help you pass the test. Thank you.

Took test today 10/27/98 passed with 882. Studied Transcender and Braindumps. Also messed around with NT Server on system at home. You might miss a couple of the hard ones (ya know,.. the ones that have a different answer in each brain dump) but you will pass easily. Everything was as described, I was just too lazy to find out the answers to the controversial questions

This sight is awesome!! Good Luck

Test #70-068

thanks to everyone on ths site i got a 941/1000 in the enterprise exam i used only the exam cram book and the brain dumps here . connectivity was my weak point as i got only 66% in that . i got 100% in 4 sections and 90% in troubleshooting . goodluck and keep dumping

Just passed the Enterprise exam 10-23-98 with a 921. Studied braindumps, cram session and Microsoft support training manuals. After all that studying the test wasn't too hard. I got almost all of the questions that are already listed in the dumps. WORD OF WARNING!!!

VERIFY all of the answers in the dumps as some of them are definitely WRONG! I hope the wrong answers are just a mistake and not intentional!! I didn't verify on the workstation exam and to my surprise I barely passed. I thought I had almost aced it because I knew all of the answers that were on the dumps. Lucky for me I did pass though.

Don't worry about all the scenerios if you study.  Study AGLP, trusts, trusts and more trusts, RAS, fault tolerance and troubleshooting. Piece of Pie!

4 down on to TCP/IP

Just Took the 70-068 nt 4 site. I was surprised to do this test and discover it wasn't as bad as some are saying Practice trust on paper and know the trusted is known as master according to microsoft and trusting is resource . which means that you will be able to access the trusting domain when it comes to accessing resources such as files printers etc. Single domain - no trusts , Single master domain - log on to master -trusted . remember resource means you can access file, printers etc. but you are authenticated by trusted domain - master . confusing?  Also rule of thumb always place members in Global group and put global group into local group to trusting domain. keep doing this on paper because on the test in a stress environment you won't get confused . Also 98% of the actual tests are on braindumps thanks to this site man what a test saver and now for a personal note: Some bigshots feel that us test takers who visit these kind of sites are ripping off the industry by memorization. Well I say whatever it takes to get thru these kind of mind boggling tests from MS. So be it. The MCSE paper will get you in the door and by doing the MCSE thing every day will turn you from paper MCSE to  practical MCSE. Try setting up a server and WS and practice and keep on going. Success sees the goal not the obstacles> Cheers to my fellow future MCSE's.

Took the Enterprise test yesterday (passed w/ 900+) and found it very similar to Yancy's (26.4.98). Also some good cramming questions from MCP (9.30.98). I think that the Braindump site will cover most of the content for the test, however, sloppy time management on the test will kill you! Be sure to mark questions and come back later. I finished with only 10 seconds to spare! Lots of  situational questions that you must read quickly. I'm not going to list any questions since they were very close to Yancy. Mark (9.30.98) has added the answers to Yancy's test which was very helpful (Be sure to check the answers yourself). Thank you everyone for all your info. Good Luck!

Relieved---

I passed Enterprise today with 882/1000. I was pressed for time so didn't explore the scenario-based on this site but every one of the other questions I had have been posted on this site. I am disturbed though about the question regarding the RAS security pertaining to encription. To the no authentication question I answered required and one optional. I scored 66% on connectivity.

90 minutes was plenty of time for WS and Server but not this one...Mark the scenarios, revisit them and answer, and allow at least 15 minutes for review.

You MUST know domains or you are dead.

DougC

I passed Enterprise yesterday with 842. Believe every word you've heard about this exam being tough.

After taking it my brain was fried ! All the questions were covered in this site,no surprises.

To prepare I took Microsoft training class,Transcenders(helpful but not a must),experience with NT at work & ofcourse this site. You gotta know this stuff cold especially trust. They throw in so many different tricky scenarios to confuse you. 4 down 2 to go! Thanks again for this great site!

Hiya all, just wanted to share my joy and relief at passing the above exam today. Score 842. This is definately the hardest exam I have taken to date, more because I didn't really revise on trusts and domain models until yesterday Doh! But anyway I am now 1/2 MCSE and on to Net Essentials on  Monday.

Regards to you all from London

I wrote the Enterprise exam yesterday 21/09/98 and failed with a mark of 768.
I was very disappointed as I had worked really hard for this one and didn't
expect it to be an easy one. I have already passed the following MCSE exams
with good marks, all in the 900's, Network Essentails, NT Workstation & NT Server.

I have been in the IT industry for quite a while and am currently running an
NT network between Melbourne and Perth for over 700 users. I really thought
I was prepared for this exam especially after attending the Microsoft lecture
based classes, reading the red Exam Cram books and doing as many Transcender
and Braindumps I could get my hands on.

The format for the exam has definitely changed they have increased the time
from 90 minutes to 110 and have made the questions longer and trickier. I had
12 involved scenario type questions, some with at least 4 options. They covered
the inter-trust relationships between varies cities and the RAS scenarios in depth,
at first glace they look very similar to the trancsender questions and the questions
on the braindumps, but they have turned them around to include additional things
which have to be considered. The remainder of the questions were long winded and
took time to read and sort out. Time is very much an issue, I used every minute
available and could have done with more. On all the other tests I finished around
the 40 minute mark. To me this looked like a Beta test and M$ might be changing things.

You have to now RAS, DHCP, WINS, Relay agent, RIP for IP very well, when to use them
and when not to, how they can improve bandwidth on a WAN link or with a router. There
were a lot of questions on Performance Monitoring and the usual on fault tolerance.
Trusts played a big part and you need to now when are you a member of the guest account
or the domain users account (there must have been at least 4 questions on this subject).
Response Probe is still there and I'm not sure whether this a trick question as Tech-Net
states that before you use it be aware that M$ does not support it.

I have resigned myself to the fact that if I had of known my work as well as I thought,
I would have passed irrelevant of what paper was thrown at me. It has given me the
opportunity to go back and learn the sections I felt unsure on in the test.
I am hoping to re-book for the exam this Friday and hopefully I will be more prepared
this time.

Thanks to every one for their contributions to this site and sorry my effort is not
more detailed. But what it comes down to is not learning the model answers, but knowing
why an answer is right or wrong and you can only do that if you know your work and if
you don't M$ will certainly take advantage of that and trip you up.

Thanks again

Kevin.

Passed Enterprise yesterday. As everyone says, this test is more detailed and lengthy than others. I had about 12 scenarios, and lots of trusts, domain, and group stuff. I used MOC, the braindumps and the Que MCSE test prep to prepare. I could have done better on the Managing Resourses section (groups, policies, disk resources, etc.). I probably should have marked those and reviewed because the wording used on these was vague to me. Be sure to checkout braindump heaven (209.207.167.177/70-68/ I found Mark's dump especially helpful in preparing. Thanks to all for guiding me in the right direction to prepare. On to TCP/IP.

# 70-68 - Server in the Enterprise Exam

This exam is the toughest of the core exams. Although most of the exact questions are in the braindumps, It was difficult verifying any of the answers. Sybex is a letdown on this one. Exam Cram was a step up. I failed this exam once (by one question) and then passed it the next day (right on the mark). Several MCSE's I've spoken with has admittedly failed this exam several times before passing.

What's even more troubling is that although every test question is in the brain dumps, many of the answers are apparently incorrect. Sybex was not a very good research tool for the questions in the braindumps.

This exam (my fourth) was brutal. Perhaps, had I had better textbooks it would have been a little easier. Even with all the braindumps, it is very possible to fail this exam!   ...... Imagine that.

Exams 067 & 068

NT Server & Server+Enterprise

Thanks to all who have provided to this site. With the help of you all and transcenders I have passed my first four core exams towards my MCSE+Internet. After a four month wait between exams due to  circumstances beyond my control I finally wrote Server and Enterprise within the last week and passed them both. I found Server to be easier   than Workstation but the Enterprise his another topic to be taken very seriously.

If were not for this site and Transcenders I would not have passed.   Those people who submitted dumps and included that they had failed were saying they received between twelve and sixteen scenarios and did not have enough time to finish. I counted on my exam and I received 22,  twelve at the beginning and ten at the end. I made sure a answered each question before I proceeded, whether I marked it or not. Many were long and wordy with multiple exhibits. Do not spend much time re-reading. I  finished with two minutes left.

My advice, make a couple of copies of Yancy's braindump. Try to answer the questions and resolves the scenarios without any help.

You can use Mike's answer page for reference but he has a few mistakes that you will have to diagnos. Many of the questions I seen were from these two sites.

Good Luck and Merry Xmas,

Sparky

Test 70-068

I passed '068 with 901 today on my second try. The first time, I got a 666 (yeah? How do you think I felt.). Anyway, I'm calling just to say that the second set of questions from the pool are much easier. I only had 2 questions with the multi-exhibits and about 8 more with single exhibits.

Know your trusts, NTFS permissions, file permissions, etc. Read Yancy's site and Weekend's dump. Good Stuff.

I've been working with NT since it was beta code and I'm finally getting around to MCSE. 3 more to go, off to NetEss.

Yesterday I did Enterprise and passes with an 882... It was my 4th exam...and all off them passes on the first try... My advice: Know your stuff, but most of all :

Focus on the Braindumps and the Trancenders !!!

<I also uses the Peptest>.

Forget all about your book... u are spilling your time with that... only use it when u doesn't understand a subject very well.

4 down...2 2 go ! :)

Good luck 2 u all !!!

I just passed the Enterprise by the skin of my teeth. Very long questions with exhibits. Several questions similiar to:

Domain B trusts Domain A. Mary is a user in Domain B. She logs on to Domain A. What can she access?

1. everything granted to \\DomainA\GlobalQuest?

2. everyting granted to \\DomainB\GlobalQuest?

3. everyting granted to \\DomanA\GlobalUser?

4. everyting granted to \\DomainB\GlobualUser?

I got the brokers queston too.

Thanks guys.

Just passed the exam, altough I thought I had failed-there are 51 questions and you have 90 min to complete this bastard.Well I can tell you just know trusts very well indeed and network monitor and performance monitor and you should pass......I had 30 questions of long winded senario questions nothing like I had seen on my previous exams.

One thing I can say about this exam is that if you do not know your work you will fail plain as that..

Well good luck and off to write NW Essentials.
