Subject: Enterprise Braindump
BTW, THANK YOU FOR THIS WEBSITE!!!! Hopefully most people will use it as a tool and still actually LEARN the stuff :)
Passed the test today with a score of 882. I used transcender, course material, examcram and the braindump info. I didn't really see much I hadn't seen in trans./brain dumps. I fealt like I knew the material very well. I recommend looking at Yancy's braindump and website, very nice! I got the 2 RAS questions and think I might have gotten them but don't really know because I got 83% in Connectivity. I had one question that REALLY made me mad. It was a variation of the question on fault tolerance that seems to be on all the tests, it went like this:
Question: You have a Windows NT server with six scsi disks. On one disk is the system partition, the other five are in a stripset. 1 disk failed, you replaced the disk. What must be done next in the disk administrator?
a. some answer I can't remember
b. Choose regenerate in the fault tolerance menu
c. Choose make stripe set with parity and restore from backup
d. Choose make stripe set and restore from backup
Now what stumped me was that they didn't say whether it was with parity or without. I first chose answer B and then reconsidered and chose answer D.
Man they are vengeful S.O.B.s
The other two questions I hadn't seen were:
1. You have a workstation that is not a member of any domain (I think it was a member of a workgroup) and you want to access the resources of domain Sales. How do you do this?
a. enable the guest account in sales
b. create a duplicate user account in sales domain for each workstation account
c. make user accounts on the nt workstation members of the appropriate sales group in sales
d. create duplicate accounts for each group on the workstation computer.
Answer:?
I first chose A and B but then thought about it and went back and changed it to A and C
2. You want to create a database of measurements for a server for future reference and monitoring. Which tools do you use?
a. Excel
b. Response Probe
c. Perf. Monitor
d. Network Monito
Answer:?
I chose C and D
I also wrote down this question but I'd seen it elsewhere.
3. ... You have a lan to lan router and you want your network to be able to recognize other routers as they are added and removed. What do you use?
a. SAP
b. DHCP Relay Agent
c. RIP for IP
d. RIP for NWLINK IPX/SPX
Answer:?
I chose C
That's it, 4 down and 2 electives to go. One other thing, if you use this site then CONTRIBUTE! Robert goes to a lot of work to keep the site running and probably is putting his neck on the line, so support him. Happy trails!
