I went in unprepared (Friday 23rd) and not expecting to pass - got 764 /1000. Did not find Exam Hard

Lots of long questions, but enough short gimme questions to make up for them.

I did not find time to be an issue. I had 18 minutes left (I am a slow reader - this was about same as NT Server, and NT Workstation)

I had about 8 - 10 Scenarios. These would often integrate 2-3 different areas into one question.

Exam seemed to cover all areas of NT

Main focus was Trusts - Permissions - Domains

4 - 5 RAS (B-Channels, Multilink, Call back, Scenario - Field Engineers, etc.)

4 - 5 Fault Tolerance / Read Performance - Stripe Set with & w/o Parity, Vol. Set, Disk Mir/Dup.

Know CPU demand and read performance comparisons (see Exam B Q25)

One Stripe Set - Regenerate

3 - 4 Had to do with Routers (one DHCP Relay Agent)

3 - 4 Performance Monitor / Network Monitor - one of the performance monitor questions was on a counter I have not heard of before

Had this question:

Installed NT Server without making a Repair disk. Installed 2 SCSI Controllers and you want to quickly save this Registry Configuration. How SHOULD you do this? (this was pick one only)

one option was to create an Emergency Repair Disk.

one option was to save using Save Key command in Registry Editor.

Either of these would work - my instructor said she would pick the Emergency Repair Disk ( but I am not certain of the exact wording.
