Subject: 70-068

Just came from 70-068 and I am HAPPY but embarrassed, passing with the absolute minimum of 784. I made over 900 on the 1st 2 NT tests. I echo everyone else here in that this one was extremely difficult.

It seemed like the test I wrote was 80% scenarios involving RAS, trusts, domains. Permissions. I did not see a lot of easy questions. I used this site, New Riders, Transcenders. But it seemed to me that this 70-068 site got to be more confusing than helpful.. Anyway, here are a few suggestions:

 You use network monitor to accumulate 800 packets. What do you use to see all the info on one computer?

I had no idea but picked "choose sort according to address in viewer" They had filter selections but the packets had already been accumulated so to me that would have been irrelevant. I had not seen this type of question here nor in Transcenders. Look this up

What to do if a drive in a mirror goes bad

Replace drive, break mirror, reestablish mirror

What to do if a parity drive goes bad

Replace, regenerate

Strip with 5 drives and 2 fail

Replace drives and restore from backup

The printing question with 3 groups, 1-2-3. 3 prints large jobs and 1 needs to print first. They had a whole chart but mainly create 2 printers, assign 1-2 to both, 3 to one, 1-2 print after 1st page, 3 after last page, priority 99-50-1

Did this fulfill results? Yes

If you are moving Netware users to NT and do not want NT users to be overwritten what do you do.

I chose use network mapping.

I chose c and d, others on this site have chosen bcd but I have yet to find any info on response probe. But I also got 66% on Monitoring and optimization

Minimize Memory is supposed to be for under 10 users logging in to a server. Balance is supposed to be for up to 64 connections Max for file sharing is supposed to be for anything above 64. Max for Net apps is for a app server.

 I chose B but have seen a lot of discrepancy on this site about this question. Transcender says B.

NO Apple question and only the above 2 on netware. One easy one on permissions because it was No Access.

That's about it for me. My brain is fried. Halfway there and am glad to be through with the NT stuff.
