NT Server in the Enterprise -70.68
Whew! I must have got a new version of the exam. I scored an 882 and most of the questions were straight out of the Brain Dumps for this exam but I have never seen the ones I listed below before, either on the Brain Dumps or any other book, material, etc.
Here's what I remember:
-1-You have an Nt Server, a pentium 133, 32 mb RAM, etc. It is used as a file and print server. Users report that response time is very slow. You run Performance monitor to check things out....here's what it recorded:
-Processor object .........80%
-Disk object..................100%
-Memory object, pages/sec..........101.885
-Server object?/bytes/sec........86543
What should you do to to improve the servers performance?
-a-Add memory
-b-Add another processor
-c-add a faster processor
-d-add disk and create a stripe set (don't remember if it said w/parity)
I was kinda lost here, so I guesed with create a disk set..........

-2-Something about two domains, East and West, West trusts East, you assign the right to log on remotely. What would someone logging on from the West domain be able to access?
-a-Everything in the West/Domain Users group
-b-Everything in the East/Domain Users group
-c-Only Administrators can be set up to access resources in this way
-d-You cannot access resources the way this scenario suggests
I had no idea here, watch out for this one.

-3- One of the Chicago/Caracas, etc., scenarios gave a choice of answers with a twist......(see answer 'b')
You had the usual d) does not meet the requirements, c) meets requirements only, b) meets requirements and TWO of the optional results and the other choice was a) meets the required and all of the optional results. There were at least SIX optional results and some of them were a stretch so I went with: b) meets requirements and TWO of the optional results. Some of the optional results were: Reduce WINS traffic over the link, reduce DHCP traffic, Reduce replication across the link. The proposed solution said something about setting the Replication Governor to 25 and setting the WINS servers as Pull partners only. Know all the details of this one, it was tricky.

That's about all I can remember, all four core tests are done, on to TCP/IP. Thanks to everyone who contributes here. Good luck!!!
