I Just wrote the Enterprise exam. The pass mark is set high at 784, so don't

take this exam lightly. Know your stuff inside out or you'll get burned. I was

expecting alot of Scenario based questions so I rushed through it. I only had 8

or so scenario based so I ended up with 45 minutes to spare and passed with

901. Anyhows, here is what I think you might want to look at before writing.

I am not going to repeat the stuff that is on most other braindumps here, just

stuff that was new to me..

- Take a look at RAS security, encryption and stuff

*Remember, if you use "any encryption including cleartext" those logging

in from a NT, 95 or 3.11 machine will still use microsoft encryption.

- System policies, roaming and mandatory profiles are touched on ( 3 or 4

questions)

- Know Disk striping, mirroring and duplexing, What is useful when and is

used for what ( 5 or 6 questions)

- What permissions will you gen when logging into a TRUSTED domain

FROM a TRUSTING domain ( 2 questions worded differently)

- Very important you know inside and out:

*Minimizing Logon traffic over a WAN ( multiple scenarios)

- Know:

*Minimizing WINS traffic over a WAN (Wins Push Pull Partners)

*How to get users to backup all DC's, Servers, and workstations over

multiple domains.

*What DHCP is responsible for.

*RIP

*Serving 10 web sites from one NT server. difference between serving

intranet and internet is very important.

*Know how NTFS permissions interact with other NTFS permissions(least

restrictive applies, No Access overrides all)

*Know how share permissions interact with other share permissions(least

restrictive applies, No Access overrides all)

*know how NTFS Permissions and Share permissions work together(most

restrictive applies)

It is a given that you MUST know these before writing the test:

*Trusts ( should be second nature )

****The 4 Domain Models (Single, Single Master, Multiple Master,

Complete Trust) This is what the exam is mainly about so know each very,

very well.

*How trusts are configures in different domain models *Very Important

Know troubleshooting bootup problems.

*when to use three startup disks and to a repair.

*restoring the registry when corrupted.

*File ntoskernel missing, what do you do.

Know:

*Recovering from a failed mirror.

*recovering from single and multiple disk failures when Stripe Set with

parity is used.

*recovering from single and multiple disk failures when Stripe Set without

parity is used.

Know:

*How do you let users join domains.

*Installing NT as BDC if not connected to the right domain. ( you can't )

*Installing NT as Member server if not connected to domain ( install in

workgroup and join domain when connected)

Make sure you have lots of hands-on with NT. It will help more than

anyhting. Good Luck
