NT Server Enterprise
I have passed last week the NT Server in the enterprise and have only one
left to go (IIS 4). First I would like to thank all you guys out there for
the unbelievable work you have been doing . I had barely passed NetEss and
TCP/IP before I found out about this site .
The first thing I would like to point out is that this site is a very
powerful preparation tool , and that is the only way people should look at
it . By looking at the questions you find out what Microsoft expects you to
know and this is the only way to find out .
But guys , please start paying more attention to the answers you put out
there . I do not want to disencourage anyone from dumping but please if you
are not sure about it , please state so . I have encountered throughout the
last couple exams such answers so absurd and trust me , it does confuse
people .
for example: there is a question regarding 6 hard disks and stripe set w/
parity and one disk fails (not the one with OS) how to fix it. I have seen
by numerous dumps (you wouldn't believe it) that answered to restore from
backup . All I could tell you is that if I worked for Micrsoft I would
hesitate to give such person a certification on
NT . This is completely misunderstanding the whole concept of RAID 5 , the
whole big deal about a set w/parity is that if only one disk fails (and it
usually happens like that) you could restore it through parity information
saved on the set. Plus , according to these guys , what in the world is the
regenerate option in the tools menu there for????
watch out for the questions , since Microsoft has been changing information
on it that turns it into a different deal. The question with the RAS
brokers , one of the requirements was that they should be able to dial in
from any location , but in the solution it stated to callback to a preset
number so it does not meet any of the requirements ( I had both questions ,
the first was as usual , but they changed the second , tricky uhh!)
The usual Caracas Chicago question , one of the solutions is a master
domain model , and I have seen in the dumps people answering that it meets
requirements but it is not true. The question mentions something about the
resource domains having to access data in the user domain , in the case ,
you would need two way trusts and with the master domain it is not so . The
trick is that the question as it is by Yanci's dump does not say a word
about trusts , but the one on my exam did and it said by the solution "one
way trusts where Caracas,etc... trusts Chicago" , so it does NOT meet the
requirements
Some good news for you guys is that our old friend Maria was promoted and
no longer belongs to a group w/ no access
that's all for now .
