As a matter of fact due to the complexity of the bizzare scenario and the

lengthy wotding of many questions one may feel overwhelmed and indeed

loose track of time which cause to panic ahsttering ur focus on the

material.

As I see it to be well equiped as to what kind of question to expect (i.e.

u r not shocked by some weird ET questions) is very essential to be able to

go through the exam while keeping ur nerve.

I recommend to do the transcender exam over and over again, visiting the

braindump (such as this site which is the only site I got to access), and

the Saluki site (I'm not aware of other similar sites??).

I got 941 in 45 minutes. But again the key to this somewhat unexpected

easiness is , I think, that I was well prepared and did benefit greatly

from the above.

By the way there is no alternative to hard work. AND BE VERY CRITICAL WITH

WHATEVER U READ INCLUDINNG TRANSCENDER .as pointed elsewhere on this site,

the April1997 version has couple of wrong answers that were corrected in

the June 1997 version. Still, BE CRITICAL. Ans u need to do ur share of

digging to reach a convincing answer. I myself had misunrstood one point

(trust across domain) until 8:30 am this morning (just before going to the

exam).

First I'll say that nothing unexpected really, and nearly all have been

posted already; still to confirm that I'll go through the questions to the

best of my memory with my apology for any omission.

what to do: here they did not go through the details but while giving wrong

answers the correct one was worded: use emergency repair process which is

the ans.

-u have 6 HD. The first has the system partition the remaining 5 use strip

one of the 5 fails u replace it how to recover data:

a-create strip set with parity on all 6 disk (yes 6) restore from backup

tape

b-create strip set on 5 disk, restore from backup tape

so u see how they want to trick into jumping to strip set with parity

though the question said only strip set.

and no one else Including the Administrator to mess with it

so u create a group remove everyone and all permission

now choose one of two setup:

-u assign print permission to creator owner and assign manage document to

the group u assign manage document to creator owner and print to the

group(I chose this one and I think it's correct because the other choise

give the group the right to manage the print job,, but not sure??)

-London Mexico scenario. Mexico has everything london only ws

when it come sto the lengthy scenario dont get distracted by the too many

details stay focussed on the basics: what's given ? what/s needed??

The first thing u want to check is the requirment before the option.

Many times ,and I mean many times, u dont need to consider the option

because the reqd is not met. This will save u lot of time.

but dont rush there is plenty of time make sure u do a good reading so u

dont miss important info.

-how to simplify the creation of home users :%usernames%

-how tocreate a baseline: monitor throughtout the day for number of days

-nothing on registry (which I found surprising)

-nothing on netmonitor (surprise??)
