Just sat the NT Server in the Enterprise exam 70-68. Passed with 822. Required pass mark=784 Time pressure is an issue in this exam There is a lot of reading, and re-reading, just to get a grip on what they are saying Finished with 13 mins to check it over. There is not as much detailed braindumps on this exam as there are for NTS 70-67 and Net Essentials, probably because of the time pressure. (who has got time to be writing down all the questions) Probably about 10-15 scenario questions (required result/optional desired results/proposed solutions) These are fairly well covered in the braindumps posted to this list. Most don't include answers With some of the questions, even knowing the question in advance won't mean you are able to work out the answer. Braindumps - new, never before released Q-1 What counter do you use in perfmon.exe to display the total processor load in an SMP server using one graph line? a. PROCESSOR/%Processor b. SYSTEM/%Total_Processor c. other - false anyway Note: can use both to display the processor load in an SMP system, but only one to display the total load on one graph line You look it up! Q-2 How do you configure the netmon.exe to show only DHCP traffic after doing a network capture? a. Use a display filter to include only SMB protocol b. Use a display filter to include only DHCP protocol c. Use a display filter to include only TCP/IP protocol Q-3 A cheque jamns in the printer. Your software does not allow you to reprint the cheque. How do you reprint it then? a. Select pause. Resume printing in the document window b. Select pause. Resume printing in the printer window c. Resume printing in the document window d. Disable the browser server b. Set the registry setting MaintainServerList = no c.Set the registry setting MaintainServerList = Auto d. other crap - false anyway If anybody knows which of these answers is correct - email me mailto:[email protected] I would not accomplish th e above by doing any of these but would run up a cmd prompt and net config server /hidden:yes Q-5 Which is the best counter to use to examine the disk performance of a selected partition? a. logical disk b. physical disk Q-6 You create a system policy file that contains custom settings for more than three groups. Several user accounts are members of more than one group. How do you control the conflicting policies that exist in more than one group? a. create three policy files and add them to each group b. User User Manager for Domains to assign policy files individually I honest don't know even with the question in front of me - email me if you know the answer mailto:[email protected] There were one or two more questions on system policies which were confusing. - sorry cant remember them Q-7 A NT domain spread over two cities - London and Mexico - with the interconnect being a 56 Kbps link. London has only Member servers and Mexico has the WINS, DHCP and PDC. Required Result - Increase network performance Optional Desired Results -decrease WINS traffic -Decrease DHCP traffic -Maintain the same level of name resolution services while minimising replication traffic (this is verbatim - Okay!) -Decrease logon validation traffic Proposed solution -Reinstall the London NTMS as a BDC -Add WINS and DHCP to London -Configure the clients in London to use the local WINS server -Configure the replication governor to 25% -Configure the WINS servers as pull partners only (this is also verbatim)
