As per "Boo Boo Bear," I believe there are two versions of this test:

one that can be passed in the allotted amount of time and one that

cannot. As described by "Boo Boo Bear," I got the easier test.

One question I did not see on the brain dumps:

You are forced to rely on a rather unorthodox illustration. There is no

real description in the question.

London site, 45 users. At top of circle representing London network is

"Server/Domain Member.

Mexico site, about 150 users. At top of circle representing Mexico

network is "DHCP/Wins/PDC."

There is a 56K frame relay connection between the two networks.

London has been complaining about various performance problems (slow

logons, slow boot, etc.). Requirement: increase network performance to

that of Mexico network. Optional: decrease logon validation traffic

over 56K link. Decrease DHCP traffic over 56K link. Decrease Wins

traffic over 56K link.

The proposal is a follows: make London server DHCP server on its own.

Also make it a Proxy server. Route Netbios traffic between the two

networks.

I did not see how the proposal could possibly increase London network

performance to that of Mexico without making the London server a BDC

(for logons and browser functions) so I answered "d. does not meet the

requirement." I now think I was wrong and should have put "meets the

requirement and one optional (decreased DHCP traffic across 56K link)."

I would appreciate if someone could clean up some of the details I might

have missed on this question (details from the diagram, details in the

optional results and the proposal). This question looked very different

from anything I have seen during my long preparation for this test so I

suspect it is new material. It was very time consuming to answer

(desired result).

Yancy rules, but did not appreciate the Netware hacker tips on his

site. Thanks to all.
