Right now I'm preparing for the 70-068SITE test. I've completed Network Ess, W95-064, and Server. I have several years experience but had no time to study for these exams until now.

I've been going over Yancy's dump and want to elaborate on two questions that I've found answered poorly in this Braindump. I downloaded the dumps to MS Word and I have been using the find feature to researching several topics. One question there is very little consensus on is RAS:

Q16:

"Install a RAS server and configure. so only brokers can log on."

This fulfills the required result (RR).

"Use the MS authentication. method." since by default this does NOT activate data encryption the only one Optional Result(OR) is fulfilled.

Therefore answer is B

Q17:

Again RR is fulfilled as above. Any authentication method means that the brokers could encrypt PW's and data if they wanted to, but we must assume that the did/do not. The hardware security is more complicated. I looked in TechNet from Feb 97 that comes with the WNT Resource KIT upgrade 2. The explain how to use hardware security hosts (MS's exact wording). These hosts CAN encrypt both data and passwords but they don't have to! See the WindowsNT article from Dec97 "Is RAS safe?" The state that the security host just sits between modem and the RAS server . and after they above the RAS server must authenticate them.

Bottom line: assume nothing: RR only!!
