L.S.:

Past Enterprise yesterday with 941. The exam was not that hard, when you know what to expect. Look at the braindumps and use the Trancender test; they give you a good picture of the exam and what to focuss on.

However, there seems to exist TWO versions of Transcender test on Enterprise, althouhg both are numbered version 4.0. One has a databse dated to April 1997, the other to June 1997.

The difference between these two is focussed on data encryption when dialing into a RAS server (questions A33, B2 and C31). You will get this scenario for certain!

In the older version it is said that when you choose MS Encryption or Require any authentication including clear text (thus NOT specifically selecting data encryption) with a Workstation calling into a RAS server both password and data are automatically encrypted.

However, in the newer version the explanation mentions that in these cases (thus NOT specifically selecting data encryption) only the password is encrypted and NOT the data. Apparently, the first version is wrong!!!

I checked with my instructor, Resources Kits and Books online. These sources suggest that only the password is automatically encrypted between a Workstation and a RAS server and that you specifically need to choose the data encryption check box.

I am still puzzled, but I think that only the password encryption occurs automatically and not the data. Maybe seem one could add some more info on this subject.

Success, Richard
