NT Server 4.0 in the Enterprise - (70-68)

Just got back from the NT SITE exam. Scored 882. This site was, by far, the most important resource I used to pass the exam.  My worthless advice: Take your time reading the questions. There is plenty of time to pass the exam. Relax and work your way through it. Do easy ones first, then go back and hit hard ones/scenarios.

Without any further ado...

Here's one I didn't see mentioned here:

want to install nt server as a member server in a domain when you are not connected to the domain. Possible answers included install as either PDC or BDC in current domain, then join the target domain when installed. those are incorrect. correct answer is install as a member server in a workgroup, then connect to domain, go to control panel --> network and join domain.

Got the Chicago, Caracas, Paris, etc scenario

RAS scenario with the brokers. On second question regarding this scenario, they included as part of the solution data is encrypted. Watch for that.

Don't just assume that data encryption is not included.

Many fault tolerances questions...5-6 questions. On all of mine they stated whether or not there was parity involved (different from most people on this braindump).

Configuring Server service: my question was for a server that housed an

Access database that people were accessing from the network. I chose

Maximize throughput for file sharing. Don't know if this is right.

Got the IIS with 5 clients --- assign 5 ip addresses, assign ip to www folder of each client.

Got the allbackup scenario Corp, Research, sales domains, have to configure so that allbackup global group in corp can back up all domain controllers (required), member servers (Optional), nt workstations (Optional)

Printer jams, how do you reprint checks: Ans: Restart from document menu

A user logs on to corp domain, from sales domain. what resources can she access?

Ans: folders in corp domain for which corp\domain users have access to

Printing question referred to in Qestan's braindump

Single domain model, users report slow logging in, check perf mon an logins counter is high, what do you do?    Ans: add more BDCs

slow response time to file server, what perf mon object to check? Ans - logical disk

migrated files from netware server to an nt server, what to install on

clients (DID NOT MENTION "NETWARE" CLIENTS DIRECTLY) to allow them to access those files?

Ans: ms redirector

TCP/IP network with two subnets, DHCP server only on one subnet. How do assign over subnet? Answer -- Install DHCP relay agent.

DID NOT GET

audit user/group management question

netware migration/mapping file question

install rip for ip question

That's all I can think of. Thanks for LearnQuick.Com for creating this site.
