Hi everybody.
Well I just passed my IIS 4.0 exam, only one exam left to become an MCSE (Network Essentials). If you choose to use the BrianDumps, do not overlook Roberta's entry (11.19.98). Without her brain dump I probably would not have passed. Prier to the exam I skimmed over her dump as a last minute gasp at studing. I found at least 10 questions were word for word on the exam. So instead of me writing down the questions, look up her dump. You would be foolish if you don't.
Scenario/MMC questions:
1. Deny Internet access for a group of users.
2. Create a new default website.
3. Change the default document in a website.
4. Change Error Code 400 to a new error message. (From a file)
5. Create a virtual servers with the appropriate user rights.
6. Create a new FTP directory with only Read rights.
NOTE: Be careful when creating a Virtual server or directory. If the questions states that the user needs access to the Directory or Server make sure you give the stated rights only. For example, one question was extremely long winded and stated that the user needs to upload stuff to a Virtual FTP directory. Later on in the question a few paragraphs down, the exam only stated: Please create the directory. Notice it does not state to create the directory with the appropriate rights. Microsoft assume that you will because the question stated that the user will upload. I know that this may seem trivial, but when you are using a mouse sometimes you just get trigger happy and click OK without select Write or deselecting
Read.
Good Luck,
Brad.
