IIS 4.0 (70-087) Final exam... Its a real toughie.

passed with 745 2nd attempt.missed by 2 questions first time.MCSE now!

My Brain Dump:.

1)The ODBC Errors : (these questions repeated both the times).

Logon failure

General network error

Data Source name not found and no drivers specified

A: Not very sure of the answeres.

2)Around 9 SIMULTTIONS ,and its speed is really horrifying.All the simulations similar to those referred in other dumps.

3)Requirements of MS SMTP: A)FAT,B)NTFS,C)NETBIOSNAME RESOLUTION,D)DNS(choose 3)

ans:B,C,D(it is independent of a file system(not very sure).

4)one important feature i noticed in the exam is that they are really stressing on SSL concepts. know clearly the difference between SSL and PPP(also PPTP).Many questions relating this were asked.

5)Also clearly know about the concepts of hostheaders and virtual servers.

All questions can be got from this site,but the presentation of the questions there, is entirely different.

Do not try to memorize.

Also practising MMC IS A MUST.

Do your own research for answeres. Not all answeres in this site are correct.
